And since New Jersey is The Garden State, it’s only fitting that Earth Day events are happening all over town. The race takes place throughout Liberty State Park, so you’ll have spectacular views of the Statue of Liberty, the marina, and the Hudson River. Just by signing up you’ll be guaranteed a free t-shirt, and those who post-register will get shirts while supplies last. After the race, go grab refreshments at the park’s annual Earth Day Fair featuring the Earth Day Kid’s Kingdom (that’s code for tons of kids activities).

8. Hit the Trail Earth Day Celebration
