Spraygrounds, splash pads, and splash parks in NJ—they may all have different names, but they all turn the fun up while cooling you down. And the best part? Splash parks offer a free or inexpensive water park option for your family to spend the day outdoors. From sweeping NYC views under the sprinklers at Newport Green in Jersey City to the brightly colored rain domes at Dorbrook Recreation Center in Colts Neck to the watering can sprayer at Johnson’s Corner Farm in Medford, there’s a splash park near you (just don’t forget the sunscreen). Scroll down for splash pads all over NJ, and bear in mind that many have different opening dates and close the first weekend in September, so check the website before you go.
