It’s the ultimate IG backdrop: 2 million tulips that just scream spring! New Jersey’s only Tulip Festival is at Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge, and it’s a must-stop for your #NJMOM springtime bucket list.
2 million tulips to frolick through this spring at Holland Ridge Farms
Beginning in mid-April, you can wander through 153 acres of beautiful blooms, restored barns and a special touch of Holland. The 4th generation Dutch tulip farmers who brought this gem to life say if you’re ready to see tulips, “Don’t fly to Holland. Drive to Holland.”
The owners are 4th generation tulip farmers from Holland so you know you’re getting the real deal
Tulips are everywhere in Holland, but 55 years ago, Casey Jansen Sr. brought the gorgeous blooms to the Garden State, cultivating them for greenhouses and wholesale markets. He has now built the East Coast’s largest U-Pick spot, so make sure to bring some of these beauties home to brighten up your kitchen table! And, there’s plenty to go around. This year, Holland Ridge Farms TRIPLED their bulb count so get ready for bigger and better.
What to know before you go to Holland Ridge Farms Tulip Festival
Holland Ridge Farms also offers unique classes, a museum, and movies about the history of the tulip bulb and its beginnings in Holland. You may even see a few barnyard friends as you make your way around the farm. #NJMOM tip: check back this fall for when they open their sunflower fields to visitors.
