It’s that time of year again—National Night Out in NJ on Tuesday, August 4, and it’s shaping up to be an evening of outdoor fun all around New Jersey. It’s a night where the community and local law enforcement come together with fun events like live music, fire and police truck demos, games, inflatables, and everyone’s favorite, the K9 Dogs Unit. Here’s where to find National Night Out in NJ
North Jersey National Night Out Events
If you’re in North Jersey, Millburn’s National Night Out combines emergency vehicles, a DJ, food trucks, and obstacle courses. Join the Pompton Lakes Police and celebrate with food, games, and activities. In Somerville, National Night Out will take place at Carol Pager Park (Exchange Field) where there will be free music, games, and refreshments.
Central Jersey National Night Out Events
Toms River will hold its National Night Out on August 6, 2026, at South Toms River Elementary School. National Night Out in Long Branch will take place in Slocum Park with food, games, and a Touch-A-Truck. And don’t miss Howell’s music, demonstrations, and giveaways.
South Jersey National Night Out Events
South Jersey will be hosting several National Night Out events. Head down the Parkway to Cape May, where there will be beach games, bounce houses, and a magic show. In Voorhees, there will be drone displays, food trucks, and a petting zoo. In Vineland, you can see a car show, K9 demos, and end the night with a fireworks finale.
