Campgrounds in NJ – North

Pleasant Acres Farm RV Resort
Located on a working farm, this campground with modern amenities has everything from an arcade and miniature golf course to swimming pools, a fishing lake, dog park, playground, spa, and sports areas (baseball field, tennis court, horseshoes, and basketball). And let’s not forget the animals—-kids can learn to milk a cow and shear a sheep. There are family cabins, pet-friendly cottages, and RV areas available on site. The resort also has fun weekend activities from a craft fair to a chili cook-off and swim party. Also, check out their sister property, River Beach RV Resort, in Mays Landing.

Kymer’s Camping Resort
Located in the Kittatinny Mountains, this camping resort has four options for visitors – park model rentals (houses for families of 2-6), cabins, luxury tent rentals, and, of course, tent/trailer campsites. There is an Olympic-size swimming pool on-site, as well as a kiddie pool, hot tub, disc golf, tennis courts, basketball courts, miniature golf, game room, playground, a stocked lake for fishing, and more. Upcoming events include an ugly T-shirt contest, face-painting, adult casino night, and a dinosaur dig.

The Great Divide Campground
This campground has 270 pet-friendly RV and tent campsites – in wooded and open areas – and cabin rentals for visitors who want modern amenities like a full kitchen, home theater system, electronic fireplaces, and central air conditioning. There is a private lake for fishing and boating, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, basketball court, game room, playground, and a camp store. You can also book when the Great Divide Barn has events, such as tree decorating and a masked singer masquerade contest, as well as various musical guests.

Campgrounds in NJ – Central

Butterfly Camping Resort
Located about 11 miles from Six Flags Great Adventure, this camping resort has RV and tent site rentals and cabins. The campsites are located on 30-feet by 40-feet areas with water, electricity, cable, a picnic table, and a fire ring. There are three cabin options (rustic, deluxe, and cottage). Each cabin sleeps a maximum of four adults (no pets allowed). Your kids will love the weekly Saturday events, including kid crafts by the pool and a sundae social, as well as monthly activities including a screening of Jaws, a pig roast, eating contest and lollipop hunt, and more.

Campgrounds in NJ – South

Baker’s Acres Campground
This campground is spread over 60 acres and has 300 shaded campsites (ranging from primitive to electric, water, cable, sewer site hookup options), as well as RV rentals, cabins, and cottages. There is a playground, horseshoes area, bocce ball courts, and volleyball on-site. The site map even offers the best photo op shot areas (get ready for an insta photo dump). Make sure to check the dates of the fish fry weekend, an annual concert with local live bands performing, and a Vegas weekend with family-friendly casino-style games for everyone.

Four Seasons Family Campground
Situated in the Delaware River Region of South Jersey, all campgrounds on the property have 100 amp electrical service, water, picnic table, and fire ring. There are three cabin options for visitors: The Trapper Cabins sleep four but are rustic (a water spigot is on-site) while the Homesteader Cabins and Rancher Cabins sleep six and offer modern amenities. There is a swimming pool and sun deck, swimming and fishing lake with a beach, arcade, sports courts (volleyball and basketball) with sports equipment available (softball, volleyball, basketball, and soccer), playground, and dog park. Upcoming event weekends include Shark Week(end), Christmas in August, Halloween Weekend, and more.

Adventure Bound Camping Resorts – Tall Pines and Cape May
With two locations of woodland acres in southern New Jersey, you’ll find rustic cabins and ones with modern amenities, and RV rentals. Family activities include a splash park, swimming pool, a gaga pit, and inflatable play centers. Upcoming event weekends include a Chocolate Lovers Weekend, Chili/Chowder Cook-Off and Tailgate Celebration, and a Frightfully Delightful Halloween Finale to close out the season.

Ocean View Resort Campground
Located on 180 wooded acres between Atlantic City and Wildwood, this campground has 1,173 campsites equipped with electric, water, sewer, and cable TV, plus a fire ring and picnic table. Cabin and cottage rentals are available (no pets allowed). The site offers a swimming lake, a kid-friendly splash park with a giant pirate ship and water slides, a game room, tennis courts, pool, catch and release pond, mini-golf, and more. A tram car is available to take campers around the resort. Upcoming activities include morning yoga, candy bingo, a magic show, and a steel drum concert.
