1. Waffle mania!

Anyone up for brunch? Join the Williams-Sonoma store at Short Hills and professionals will help your child learn to make waffles, a classic breakfast item that can be eaten any time of day with the sweetest toppings. Blueberries, syrup, strawberries, and whipped cream are just a couple of the toppings your child has to choose from at this free waffle mania cooking class.

2. Twisted Kids at Mountain Creek
Every Sunday starting January 18th, 2016 | 11:00 AM (registration is from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
You’re wiping snow off your car, waiting for it to warm up, and suddenly you’re late. Snow can sometimes be a burden, but it doesn’t always have to be a bad thing. Embrace the cold and head over to Mountain Creek this Sunday for an hour free coaching session. All you need is your snow gear, a helmet, and to sign a waiver. Instructors will help you and your family learn how to conquer Twist Park on Vernon Peak and there will also be some fun prizes. Children and adults of all ages are welcome.

3. Wassailing the Apple Trees
Sunday, January 24th, 2016 | 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
At Terhune Orchards, wassailing the apple trees is an ancient annual tradition meant to protect apple trees during the winter season. There will be live music, warm apple cider, a cozy bonfire for marshmallow toasting, singing and dancing, and honoring the tradition of placing cider-soaked bread on the apple trees branches.

4. Puppetonia’s Inclusive Puppet Show
Friday, January 22nd, 2016 | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Suitable for babies and preschoolers, Puppetonia invites young children to their interactive puppet show. The show involves actors, playwrights, educators, and musicians that will incorporate different early learning skills and story lines to help children learn and have fun at the same time. The puppets explore nature, dancing, verbal instructions, and more.

5. Fire Pit Friday’s
Friday, January 22nd, 2016 | 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Free live music and a cozy fire pit makes for the perfect Friday night for everyone in the family. At Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May, enjoy the fire pit outside or go inside and enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace. Reservations are required for a guaranteed seat.
