Come celebrate your inner Greek with the crowd favorite Greek Festival at St. George’s Church. This year’s festival will display homemade Greek food, live entertainment including Bouzouki music, and the color and pageantry of Greek folk dancing. There will also be plenty vendors offering many beautiful take home Greek art and other items; there will also be marvelous tours of the church available. For the kids, there will also be “bouncy rides,” a climbing wall, and basketball shooting. This jam packed event is something your whole family cannot miss.

4. Kearny Food Truck & NJ Craft Beer Festival
Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 12:00PM to 7:00PM
The Kearny Food Truck & NJ Craft Beer Festival will have the best food trucks in the Tri-State area along with the best family friendly entertainment you can ask for. Featured mouth watering food trucks include: Carnivale Donut Bar, OINK and MOO BBQ, The French Quarter- A Taste of New Orleans LLC, Angry Archie Formerly The Angry Crab, Tony’s Traveling Trattoria, and Wild Bill’s Soda. There will also be activities for the kids including a group art activity hosted by The Montclair Art Museum Art Truck, a Plaster painting activity hosted by Kearny’s own Plastercraft.com, a rock climbing wall, an obstacle course, a bouncy castle, and bubble football. Community Day at Liberty Lake Day Camp is the official opening of the Liberty Lake facility, and biggest event of the year. Just to name a few attractions, there will be : boating, mini-golf, basketball, and laser tag. To add to the packed line up of festivities, there will also be a huge playground, moon bounce, rock wall, and fishing-so event goers are encouraged to bring their poles and bait.

Along with great food and entertainment, the festival also features amazing sangria and beer selections. For the children attending, there will be face painting and a 50/50 raffle Benefiting for the Chester First Aid Squad & The Chester Food Pantry.

Oasis Family Farms invites all its best maties in preparation for a pirate adventure like none you have ever experienced before. Captain Lucky wants help from children to recover his hidden treasures from around the farm. After the hunt for the treasure, rewards to the brave children who participate in the hunt will come, as well as becoming an official member of Captain Lucky’s crew. Each young pirate will receive a treasure chest, pirate eye patch, and tattoos; also kids are encouraged to dress as pirates so the activities are more enjoyable. Additionally, other farm attractions and free game activities for all the kids will be open to all.

Back by popular demand for its 4th consecutive year is the Truckerton Food Truck & Brew Fest. This year’s pertinent question for event goers is a debate over what is better: The Porkroll or Taylorham?
