2. NJ Youth Chorus “Guys & Guests”

Think third and eleventh-grade boys hate choir and singing? Think again—these boys love to burst out in song and will put on a gleeful performance for free. Perhaps this fun choir concert will inspire your son to join these boys in the New Jersey Youth Chorus program, too. And don’t worry, free food will be provided at the concert as well.

5. College Planning Workshop in Butler

Do you have some kids who are, well, not going to be “kids” for much longer? If so, your kids probably being told all the time how it is important to start preparing for college and life beyond living at home with you. And if it’s time for them to start doing this, for free, this event will help them just as much as it’ll help you. They might learn a couple tricks on how to study for standardized tests and you might learn about financial aid.

The plants available include flowers that are often hard to grow and forms and food, as well. This event is to support the Rutgers Gardens Student Internship Program.

14. Third Annual Arts and Crafts Festival
