Founded by former professional player Doug Cinnella, Professional Baseball Instruction offers lessons, camps, clinics, club teams, pitching programs, and year-round training for players ages 3 through professional baseball players. With more than a century of combined coaching and scouting experience, PBI is committed to helping athletes reach their full potential while building confidence, discipline, and a love for the game. This summer, camps for ages 6-13 run until August 31 and are available both indoors and outdoors. Indoor camps are held at the Ramsey Square Shopping Center, while outdoor camps take place at various locations throughout Bergen County. Both camps include activities such as hitting, base running, fielding, throwing, pitching, and catching, catering to players interested in each position. In the afternoons, campers work on situational game scenarios. The indoor camp features HitTrax technology to assess hitters and help improve their skills, while the outdoor camps offer optional private lessons for personalized coaching.

At PBI, the focus is on fostering passion and respect for the game, making baseball fun and memorable, and creating experiences that last a lifetime. If your child is just getting started or leveling up in Little League, PBI offers professional instruction, experienced coaches, and programs designed for every stage of development. Starting with the Squirt Program for 3-5-year-olds which focuses on hitting off of a tee, throwing a baseball, fielding ground balls and running the bases, your child’s skill can grow at each age and level with PBI’s programs—including the 7U Training Program for 6-7-year-olds, the 10U Training Program for 8-10-year-olds, the 12U Training Program for ages 11-12, and the 14U Training Program for ages 13-14. Beyond Little League, PBI also offers high school training for the 17U Elite Eagles showcase team, which features top high school players. There are also travel teams, coached by PBI staffers, who often win championships and tournaments across different age groups. Additionally, they host a high school and an adult HitTrax League, a state-of-the-art system for capturing, analyzing, and simulating batting data that supports training and skill assessment.
