Ho, ho, ho—Santa Claus is coming to town, and this holiday season, one of the most magical ways to see him is at Ocean Casino Resort on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. Kids will be mesmerized as they take a trip to Santa’s Hideaway Adventure—a fantastical, virtual journey to the North Pole to visit Santa at his charming hideaway in front of a cozy fireplace. But the magic doesn’t stop there—book a festive overnight stay in one of Ocean Resort’s holiday-decorated rooms, experience unique entertainment, and shop for holiday gifts at The Shop at Santa’s Hideaway Adventure. Read on how to make your Santa experience this year one to remember. (feature photo credit: Ocean Casino Resort)
Take A Magical Ride Up To Santa’s Hideaway
Ready to take a trip to the North Pole? The fun starts when the elevator doors open, and your family is transported into a private magical capsule that comes alive when kids push the button to go up. As you gaze out the virtual windows, you’ll glide through the clouds and snow to the North Pole, where Santa’s house and front door await. As you ring the bell, the door opens to his private living room, where he is waiting to greet you on the couch in front of a crackling fireplace. Kids will be in awe as they look around Santa’s house, share with him what they want for Christmas, and pose for photos. After the visit, ride the elevator down to The Shop at Santa’s Hideaway Adventure and pick up gifts for everyone on your list, as well as a special souvenir for the kids to commemorate their memorable time with Santa. This unique experience is available exclusively at Ocean in the tri-state area.
Stay in a holiday-themed room or suite
Keep the holiday magic going by booking an overnight stay at one of the festive-themed rooms in December. Ocean Casino Resort will transform an entire floor into a holiday-themed bungalow perfect for cozying up with the family. Each of the 19 rooms and suites on the floor— a One-Bedroom Suite, Studio Suite Blu, Social Suite, or a Blu Queen Room—will be outfitted with a decorated tree, festive décor, and a few yuletide surprises so you can spend time soaking up the holiday spirit. New this year, reserve your stay in Ocean’s Mean Green Holiday Suite, an exclusive suite inspired by the most beloved green Christmas Villian from the time-honored tale of how he stole Christmas. This whimsical two-bedroom suite features a connecting room that pays tribute to the holiday favorite’s protagonist, Cindy – adorned with endearing pink accents and magical charm.
During your stay, kids will love the indoor/outdoor pool open year-round, where they swim outside in any weather via the connected pass-through into warmer-than-air water overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. And if you’re lucky enough to have extended family members with you to keep an eye on the kids, make it a festive date night by stopping by the Jingle Bell Bar: A Holiday Pop-up Experience. Starting on November 28, the 1927 Lounge transforms into a spirited, nostalgic yuletide bar filled with jolly cocktails, twinkling lights, and lots of entertaining cheer. Want a bigger show? The holiday schedule at Ovation Hall features a special themed show from Cirque Dreams Holidaze, so be sure to check ahead for details.

What to know before you go
Ready to experience a Santa visit like no other? The magic begins on November 9 and goes through December 24, just in time for Santa to get on his sleigh. Santa’s Hideaway Adventure includes the virtual experience elevator and accommodates up to 6 guests (only one family reservation goes in the elevator at a time, so your trip will be private). Reservations are highly recommended (walk-ups are based on availability), and advanced reservations include a personal phone call with Santa before your visit, access to photos, and easy checkout. For the decorated rooms, book in advance, and prices vary based on room preference and dates.
