On Sunday, November 6, 2016, the NJMOM Baby Expo at W Hoboken surpassed our greatest expectations as the premier event for expectant and new parents in New Jersey.
Hundreds of pregnant and new mothers, along with their supportive families and friends, had the opportunity to learn about and interact with top local and international vendors in baby gear, healthcare, skincare, household, baked goods and yummy treats, entertainment, and so much more at the NJMOM Baby Expo on November 6, 2016 at the W Hoboken in Hoboken, NJ. Hundreds of raffle prizes and giveaways were awarded throughout the day to lucky moms, including a strollers from Stokke, Bugaboo, Mutsy and 25 Britax car seats! From the full-service stroller valet sponsored by Sudsy Buggy to massages from Bliss Spa – fun photos on the “blue carpet” by Loveprint Photography to the Mommy Lounge with a complete Babyganics diaper changing station, the NJMOM Baby Expo was an informative and interactive experience from start to finish celebrating motherhood.

Informational seminars, led by industry experts, were held throughout the day offering tips and guidance for new mothers, including a panel of doctors from CarePoint Health who taught us what to expect during pregnancy and the first year. Nicole Cannon of Sleepy Mama also focused on the first year, discussing what to look out for in baby’s sleep patterns. In Babywearing 101, Erin Curtiss of Better Together Babywearing passed on her knowledge regarding types of baby carriers, how babywearing promotes bonding, and other positive effects as mom goes about her daily activities. A panel of Natural Parenting experts, including Birthing Doula Rebekah Borucki of Blissed Birth Services, also lead a panel discussion focused on how to parent intentionally and sustainably, with baby’s best health interests in mind.
We attended the Sleep During the First Year seminar. She gave us advice and tips on how to keep the baby on a healthy sleeping cycle. It was very informative!

The Influencer Lounge included 50 of New Jersey’s top bloggers and influencers, coming together for an unforgettable day of networking and growth. Hoboken’s own Mayor Dawn Zimmer kicked off the day with opening remarks alongside NJMOM CEO, Christine Curatolo. All 50 influencers came together after brunch and cocktails for the What She Said panel, a global, ladies-only initiative presented by W Hotels. Jennifer Rossano of Neurotic Mommy, Jen DeMarco of Local Barre, and Rebekah Borucki of Blissed Birth Services discussed what it means to be an NJMOMpreneur, how they built success in their brands, and shared stories of their challenges along the way. An energy of inspiration, community, and support radiated through W Hoboken’s Lulu’s Lounge as these incredible women shared their experiences and advice with one another.
