It’s that time of year again—National Night Out in NJ on Tuesday, August 5, is shaping up to be an evening of outdoor fun all over the state. It’s a night where the community and local law enforcement come together with fun events like live music, fire and police truck demos, games, inflatables, and everyone’s favorite, the K9 Dogs Unit. We’ve listed a few of the bigger celebrations below, but check locally to see if your town will be hosting National Night Out in NJ this year, and make sure to visit their websites for the most up-to-date info. Here’s where to find National Night Out in NJ events on August 5, 2025
North Jersey
If you’re in North Jersey, Summit’s National Night Out combines a live concert, bubble artist performance, bouncy houses, and even Dunking A Cop For A Cause. Join the New Providence Police, PBA Local 132, Fire, EMS, and the New Providence Business Community and celebrate with a free outdoor concert, games for kids, and free hot dogs and ice cream. In Mount Olive, there will be pony rides, Rizzo’s Reptiles, a hot air balloon, oversized games, and even fireworks.
Central Jersey
Toms River will hold its National Night Out on August 12, 2025, and they will have free hot dogs, a DJ, and the first 500 attendees will receive a free Wawa tote with raffle tickets and special giveaways. National Night Out in Monroe Township will take place in Thompson Park with food, games, and a car show. And don’t miss Stafford Township’s live music, BMX Bike Show, and a Cardboard Boat Regatta.
South Jersey
South Jersey will be hosting several National Night Out events. Head down the Parkway to Cape May, where there will be beach games, bounce houses, and a magic show. In Voorhees, there will be drone displays, food trucks, and a petting zoo, and Ventnor City will have a DJ, face painting, interactive children’s games, and inflatable displays. In Vineland, you can see a car show, a helicopter display, K9 demos, and end the night with a fireworks finale.
