We’re fortunate enough to live in the Garden State, and heading to pick your own farms in NJ is a welcome way to get nutrient-rich food and have a fun outing with the fam. Opening day for picking is mid-May,  ending in October for most farms, so there are plenty of opportunities to pick fresh produce from spring to fall (check with each farm’s website to get specific dates, which can fluctuate based on the weather).
