3) Shrek the Musical

4) Super Science Saturday

An amazing day of science is planned at the 35th annual Super Science Saturday: New Jersey State Science Festival! The day will be jam-packed with fun and hands-on science-based programs that are not only educational, but entertaining as well! Visitors are being encouraged to bring in their own archaeology or natural history “finds” to be identified by the museum’s staff. The planetarium will be discounted at just $5/per person all day. 5) “Fun at the Shore” Fishing Derby

The Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs is hosting a series of Spring fishing derbies for children under the age of 15. The first 150 children will be provided with fishing poles, there is no entry free and prizes will be awarded. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bait, chair and fishing pole. Registration starts one hour before the start time.
