Nestled inside one of our favorite beachside shopping destinations, Pier Village, Avenue is a #NJMOM staple for family-friendly beachfront dining, or a classic boozy brunch with your gals or boo. With dramatic high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, and chef-driven cuisine courtesy of Chef Josh Sauer, this local Jersey Shore restaurant is one of our weekend staples. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30AM – 3:00PM, Avenue’s brunch menu offers seasonal fare and breakfast favorites, in addition to a stellar line up of fresh juice cocktails like their “Endless Summer.” Relax and pull up a chair, mademoiselle, your brunch awaits at Le Club Avenue.

Ambiance

Located oceanfront in the modern and fun Pier Village, this polished dining spot is popular for lunch, dinner and weekend brunches. Le Club Avenue’s gorgeous interior with floor-to-ceiling windows, tall ceilings, exquisite pearl-colored marble tiles, and lots of light make for plenty of Instagram-worthy photo-ops, not to mention a cozy fireplace to keep you warm throughout the chillier months. In spring and summer, enjoy plenty of beachfront outdoor seating and take in the breathtaking views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Cuisine

From their croque madam to pumpkin pancakes, or their classic steak & eggs, there’s something for every palette and taste bud on Avenue’s brunch menu. The crowd pleaser at our table was the Avocado Toast (pictured below) served with sunny side up eggs, avocado, red onion and jalapeño on multigrain toast.

The ‘Avenue Breakfast’ was another standout brunch option served with 3 eggs, potatoes, sausage or applewood smoked bacon, and toast. Most brunch items at Avenue range from $10-$28. Visit their full brunch menu here to plan ahead.

We loved this fresh juice cocktail, the **Peach Passion** with 360 Georgia Peach Vodka, champagne, white peach, and passion fruit.

Boozy

If you’re looking to add a little boozy to your brunch, get excited to try Avenue’s classics like mimosas and martinis, or get fancy with one of their specialty drinks like the Jalapeño Blood Orange Margarita with tequila, jalapeño, lime, blood orange juice – to add a little spice to your morning.

Another #NJMOM fave is the Le Club’s ‘Tangier’s Night’ cocktail which includes rum, freshly squeezed tangerine juice and mint. Literal Perfection!

Two of our personal faves are the Endless Summer with rum, coconut, passion fruit & turmeric, and the Peach Passion (pictured above) with 360 Georgia Peach Vodka, champagne, white peach, and passion fruit, which can usually be found on their cocktail menu year round.

Sweets

Word to the wise – be sure to save room for desert at Avenue. If you’re anything like us, a brunch dessert is part of your ultimate indulgence on cheat day, and Avenue has a wide assortment of treats for every taste. One of our #NJMOM favorites is the Profiteroles which are dreamy cream puffs with toasted almonds, served with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. We literally couldn’t put our fork down. Another favorite is the Opera Cake (pictured below) with almond sponge cake, chocolate ganache, espresso buttercream, and crème fraîche ice cream. It was light and airy, and just as amazing as it sounds and looks.

Other dessert faves include the creme brulee, the dark chocolate pot de creme, the warm apple tart and their refreshing sorbets. We typically order our dessert first (yes, seriously!), but when accompanied by family and friends, we always save the best for last.

What’s next?

One of the great parts about Avenue is their stellar location. After dining, and depending on the season, there’s so much to do. You can peruse the shops in Pier Village, go ice-skating at the pier, or make your way to the sand for a beach day. Sometimes, we just like to sit in front of the fire and enjoy the oceanside view, too.
