With studies available for women, men, and kids, CPT is easy to sign up for and do. Click on the links for more in-depth details about each study, and keep in mind the initial visit determines if you qualify. Also, good to note that the studies change and new ones are added frequently, so be sure to like CPT’s Facebook page for daily updates. When you’re ready to commit, check in with them to determine if the study you want is still available. You can also call to make an appointment to get qualified to become a panelist and be notified of the latest studies. FYI—Sunscreen products are tested in their photobiology laboratory, and all take-home studies pay $30 and up, depending on the number of visits and how long the study lasts.
Four-Week Gynecological In-Use Safety Evaluation of Condoms Study #1 for females ages 18-65. Visits September 7-October 5 in the Fairfield facility. Females must be willing to go through an internal and external gynecological exam. Payment is $90 for females.
Four-Week Gynecological In-Use Safety Evaluation of Condoms Study #2 for males and females ages 18-65. Visits September 7-October 5 in the Fairfield facility. Payment is $50 for males and $80 for females.
RIPT Patch Back Study #1 for males and females 18-79. Visits are in Fairfield and Boonton from September 11-October 2, the rest from October 3-15, and challenge dates on October 16, 17, and 19. Payment is $200 + $25 gas stipend. Refer a friend for their first RIPT study and receive a $40 finder’s fee.
48-Hour Patch Back Test Study for males and females ages 18-70. Visits are September 12-15, there are three visits total. Payment is $50.
RIPT Patch Back Study #2 for males and females 18-79. Visits are in Fairfield from September 13-October 18, with no visits from October 19-29 and mandatory challenge visits on October 30, 31, and November 2. Payment is $200 + $25 gas stipend.
RIPT Patch Back Study #3 for males and females 18-79. Visits are in Fairfield from September 20-October 11, with no visits from October 12-22 and mandatory challenge visits on October 23, 24, and 26. Payment is $200 + $25 gas stipend.
Use Study to Determine the Acnegenic/Comedogenic Potential of Cosmetic Formulations Study for females 18-45. Visits September 21 and October 19. Payment is $75.
Dermatological Safety and Adhesive Integrity Evaluation of Two Transparent Dressings Study for males and females ages 23-65. Visits are September 22, 25, 27 and 29. Payment is $130.
RIPT Patch Back Study #4 for males and females 18-79. Visits are in Fairfield from September 25 to October 16, with no visits from October 17 to 29 and mandatory challenge visits on October 30, 31, and November 2. Payment is $200 + $25 gas stipend.
Facial Toner Study for females ages 35-60. Must pre-qualify and have self-perceived discoloration, dark spots, and melasma. Visits are on October 13 and November 10. Payment is $80.
Photo Tox Study for males and females ages 18-65. For Skin Types I, II, III. Four visits from October 24-28. Payment is $75.
