Foster The Family 5K & Family Fun Day

The whole family can be a part of this day, whether it’s running a 5K, walking for 1 mile, or cheering on your little ones in the Kids Fun Run. Then, after the race, enjoy inflatables, face painting, delicious treats, and more fun. All of the proceeds go to Foster the Family NJ.

New Jersey Brain Tumor Walk
May 9 at 8:30 AM
Looking for a way to get the family involved in a powerful cause that helps those living with brain tumors? At this event, you can take part in a walk to raise awareness and funds for brain tumor patients and their families, then enjoy kids’ activities. There will also be a beautiful remembrance ceremony and survivor tribute in the morning.

Walk with Us to Cure Lupus

This walk is about giving back to the community and raising awareness about lupus. Start the day with fun activities for the whole family, take part in the walk at 10:30 AM, and end the day with festivities at the walk’s conclusion. There will be coffee or a snack and activity tents.

Maverick’s Legacy 4th Annual Spring Festival

Celebrate the legacy of Maverick, a child who left the world way too soon, at this lively spring festival with crafters and vendors, food trucks, live music, children’s entertainment, a tricky tray, and more. Proceeds go to the Maverick’s Legacy Foundation, a non-profit that strives to reduce preventable choking deaths and injuries.

Point Pleasant Beach Great Strides 2026
May 16 at 10 AM

2nd Annual Gaudreau 5K & Family Fun Day
May 16 at 8 AM
Lace up your running shoes and do a 5K for a good cause. Let your little ones take part in the Kids Dash for ages 11 and under or the Diaper Dash for ages 2 and under. Spend the rest of the day enjoying dance performances, face painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, and celebrity guest appearances.

Walk4Friends 2026
May 17 at 12 PM
Bring the kids to a lively day supporting The Friendship Circle to create awareness, solidarity, and support for children with special needs, teen volunteers, and their families. Walk with the community, then check out the PMX Show, rides, moon bounces, Art Center, Open-Air Market, and delicious food.

Miles for Matheny
May 30 at 8 PM
This annual event is a day filled with fun, movement, and support for Matheny, whose mission is to provide care and an optimal quality of life for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Enjoy a 5K trail run or walk, kids’ entertainment, a kids’ fun run and obstacle course, a wheelchair walk, and a family-and-friends BBQ. And don’t forget to bring a pair of sneakers for the Sneaker Drive, which will fund the High School Transition Program.
