The fields won’t be open until late March, but if you want to guarantee your spot (or have something springy to look forward to), buy tickets when they go on sale (spoiler alert—they do sell out). Where To See And Pick Spring Tulips In NJ
Dalton Farms
Dalton Farms offers acres of pink, yellow, red, and purple tulips in NJ for strolling, picking, and picture-taking. Beyond the blooms, the farm is open 7 days a week, and on the weekends, there is live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and even a farmers’ market. Look for the Easter Bunny to roam the fields for photo ops. Though there’s no opening date yet, the 2026 picking season will most likely be early April, so check their website for updates.

Holland Ridge Farms
The largest U-pick tulip farm in NJ draws thousands each spring to fields that replicate the experience in Holland. Opening day is contingent on weather and blooms, but plan for Easter weekend through the beginning of May, with rows of colorful tulips for unforgettable insta moments. There are also food trucks, an on-site bakery, ample picnic spaces, a feeding zoo, pony rides, and, of course, those enchanting views. The Windmill is a must-see if you are looking for panoramic views, and make sure you mark your calendar for Dutch Fest, an immersive Dutch experience with a Holland Brass Band, stroopwafles, and Dutch elements throughout the farm. Arrowhead Farmstead Dinosaur Tulip Festival
Want a unique PYO experience? Dinosaurs meet tulips at the Arrowhead Farmstead in Manalapan this spring, where kids and adults will be in awe of the stunning colors set against life-like prehistoric creatures. During the Tulip Experience from April 14-29, bring your own cutting shears and a bucket of water to cut tulips for $1 a stem while checking out the 30+ life-size dinosaurs. Starting on April 9, step into a Dino fantasy among the tulips, where you can smile for dino photo ops, watch live dinosaur entertainment, try interactive exhibits, and even enjoy encounters with a baby T. rex and Triceratops.

Ort Farms
Take a trip to Long Valley to wander through the newly planted tulip fields at Ort Farms. Packed with color, the fields are pick-your-own, with 2 stems included with admission and $2 per additional stem. After you’ve picked your bouquet, head to a farm for some fresh ice cream, famous pies, and delicious BBQ. The exact dates in April and May will be announced, subject to weather and availability.

Von Thun Farms
The newest tulip farm in NJ is at Von Thun, where their tulip festival takes center stage this spring. Stroll through the tulip fields and cut your own for $1.50 per stem. Beyond the tulips, families will find plenty to do, including a barnyard animal area, an activity area with more than 20 games and activities, hayrides, gourmet food trucks, and a beer barn. Make sure you stop at the dozens of photo-ops to remember your trip. Anticipated dates are April 18 – May 7.

Peticote Junction
Located in South Jersey, this woman-owned business is a great spot to stop and pick tulips. Blooming in mid-April, when you step onto the premises you will find a relaxing and laid-back vibe surrounded by over 10,000 tulips. Once you have found the perfect tulips to take home with you, stop by the Farm Shop where you can purchase more flowers, curated gifts, seasonal decor, and homemade goods.
