Candy Cane Holiday Game at Oasis Family Farm

Oasis Candy Lane Holiday Game is back and bringing families together for a fun-filled night of holiday cheer on the farm. Families will walk through a decorated pathway, known as Candy Lane to play a festive, fun-filled game which concludes with a gift from Santa. Enjoy snowball hot chocolate, fresh baked S’mores, hand-dipped chocolate marshmallows, and more!

This weekend, take your little ones to experience the Christmas magic at Storybook Land. Ride all the rides, enjoy all the attractions, and snack on some yummy food at the snack bars. Then, around 5pm, Santa will appear in his chimney, wave his magic wand, and illuminate the park with over one million lights.

2. 40th Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is an indoor exhibit of decorated trees that were created and adorned by various local groups and individuals. Make sure you visit on on the weekends because there’s a greater chance your family will be able to experience Environmental Education Center’s live holiday music. Cozy up in the Snowflake Café and grab a delicious treat (open on Saturdays & Sundays).

3. Daily Holiday Light Walk at Crystal Springs
Now – Monday, January 8, 2018 | Dusk to 10:00PM

Join the community of Crystal Springs for their spectacular Winter Light Walk dotting the 18 holes of the Grand Cascades Natural-Grass Putting Course. Duck past dragons and slip by candy canes (without taking a lick) at the area’s most sensational holiday light show complete with fantasy light displays and holiday music.

5. Historic Smithville’s Holiday Light Show
Now – Sunday, January 7, 2018 | Thursdays – Sundays Dusk to 8:30PM Only
Enjoy popular songs of the Holiday Season synchronized with a dazzling Christmas tree light show sure to get your little ones in the Holiday spirit. 120 Christmas Trees decorated with over 50,000 Christmas lights, magically float on Lake Meone in the center of Historic Smithville. The moment darkness falls, an orchestrated show of lights and music is played out across the lake. The lights seem to dance and chase each other to the music all the while reflecting off the water’s surface. This show can be seen from either side of the village as well as the bridge, make sure you get a good seat!

8. Parade of Lights

This weekend is Pennsauken Township’s first Parade of Lights. The parade will feature Fire Trucks and Emergency Service Vehicles decorated with bright lights and festive embellishments. It will take place on Browning Road between Witherspoon and Maple Avenues. Make sure you wait until because you wouldn’t want to miss Santa in a shiny red fire truck.

Winter Wonderland Run is hosted and sponsored by Windansea. There will be a post-run celebration with costume contests, live music and food and drink specials. Make sure to give back by bringing toys and canned goods/non-perishable donations that will be accepted by the Highlands Fire Department’s Toys For Tots program and the food pantry.

The Museum Holiday Crafts Fair will take place the last weekend before Christmas (December 16 and 17) inside the museum. Come by for jewelry, household items, knitwear, children’s items, historic prints, and more. They will have handmade items by local artists and artisans, including Jennifer Place’s jewelry. Pick out items for those left on your list. From handblown glass, gemstones, and mixed metals, to Christmas ornaments from recycled materials you’ll be sure to find a gift for that perfect someone.

Get into the Christmas spirit at Secor Farms with free photos with Santa in his workshop. Other fun Christmas activities at Secor Farms include winter hayrides and s’mores by the open fire. All activities are weather permitting. Santa will be in his workshop from 1:00- 3:00 and hayrides will run from 12:00- 4:00 on Saturday & Sunday December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 & 17.

16. Santa Day

Santa will be taking a break before his big night to visit Verona, NJ to spread holiday cheer, substituting his sleigh for a fire truck. The Verona Fire Department will visit every street in Verona, playing holiday music and handing out candy canes to all children! When you hear sirens and music, come out to say hi and receive holiday cheer.
