New York City is busting at the seams with fun things to do for your little ones. Traveling into the city is a totally different story though. Between the drive in, tolls, and parking, not to mention the frustration of it all, it can be mentally taxing finding the easiest way to get into the city. This summer, NY Waterway has your back with their Kids Ride Free program which includes free ferry rides for two children, 12 and under, with each paid adult ticket. Ride into the city hassle-free and enjoy an activity while you’re doing it? NJMOM Hack for the win!
NY Waterway: Kids Ride Free Program = NJMOM Hack ⛴
From July 5th to September 3rd, for each adult fare purchased, two children can ride completely free. Once you and your family have arrived at your destination, you have access to dozens of free NY Waterway shuttles to take to your activities in Manhattan, as well as a free real-time bus locator app to make it all that much easier.
Each ferry offers air conditioning, free Wifi, and restrooms. The ferries are fast and they travel frequently. In addition to these amenities, your family will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the New York City skyline from the ferry which is a total mom win if you ask us.
