It’s time to eat, NJ! Come to JC’s Fun & Food Truck Festival event to enjoy a day filled with flavors from the hottest food trend right now—food trucks. 4. Spring Solo Exhibitions

7. Libraries Transform: Meeting Room Reopening Musical Celebration

8. Communiversity Princeton Festival of the Arts

Washington DC is far away from NJ and this is a much easier way to experience the beauty of the light pinkish-purple tree that grows in the spring. 13. Earth Day Celebration

Hunterdon County Division of Parks and Recreation will be holding an event to celebrate New Jersey’s favorite mom—Mother Earth for Earth Day this year. If you bring your kids to this event they’ll get the chance to play all kinds of games made out of repurposed items.

14. Fies at the Beach

If your kid is thinking about Irish Dance, this is the place to come and see a free show. This dance competition will feature 1,300 talented Irish step dancers from all ages, and hopefully your child will find each of them inspirational. And don’t worry, Irish products will be provided by many vendors at this event, too!

17. Life Under the Sea Installation

Artist Poramit Thantapalit will feature some really neat art made out of recycled goods. Think 3D things that look like coral flowers, sea urchins and coral reef made out of re-used materials. Your kids will enjoy getting to “sea” what it looks like from down below.

18. FREE Ice Cream Day
April 30, 2017 | 10AM-6PM
Did we just scream FREE ice cream day? We did! Alstede Farms is offering free cups and cones filled with homemade ice cream to anyone who shows up between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Since it will likely be warmer by then, you know this will be a good way to cool the family off.

19. Maywood Springtime Street Fair

With lots of pizza, desserts and ribs, this block party will be a fun thing for the whole family to attend. The Maywood Chamber of Commerce hopes to make this fun for their community by providing everyone with entertaining games and music throughout the day. 100 vendors will be selling really cool things as well!

21. Easter Bunny Goes Skydiving

We’d all like to admit we’ve at one point in our life wondered what the Easter Bunny looks like when falling from the sky. And this event will leave us wondering no more—the Easter Bunny will take a jump from an airplane and fall through the sky and your kids will be able to watch the action for free.
