Rahway River Community Cleanup
September 8, 11AM – 2PM
The Central Jersey Stream Team is sponsoring an event that will clean up the Rahway River and restore it’s beauty. As a bonus, a late lunch will be served after the cleanup at the new Rahway River Watershed Association office.

PHF Walk & Family Fun Day NJ 2018
September 8, 11AM – 2:30PM
Meet your favorite superhero at the PHF Walk and Family Fun Day. Join for a day of great fun with family and friends as you help The Pediatric Hydrocephalus Foundation raise awareness and money to fund a cure for hydrocephalus, a serious brain condition that typically occurs in young children.

Bark-a-Que & Dog Adoption Event

Planet Honda is celebrating their 8th Annual “Bark-a-Que” & Dog Adoption Event. This is Dog Rescue Group’s “ Home for Good’s largest adoption day of the year which features dog adoptions, food, canine contests, a tricky tray, and more. Bring your kids and pooch to meet new furry friends.

Sandy Paws Dog Walk Fur Clean Water

Out of the Darkness Jersey Shore Walk
September 15, 9AM – 3PM
When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Jersey Shore Walk, you join the effort with hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The company can invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss with your conations. Bonus: Walk two miles and stay for the free luncafterwardfterwards.

Ort Farms Food Truck Festival
September 15, 11AM – 7PM
The Just Jersey Fest is rolling into Ort Farms with 15 food trucks, a beer and sangria garden, face painting, a jammin’ DJ, corn maze, pumpkin picking, pony rides, petting zoo, and hayrides. Your admission cost benefits the NorthStar Pet Rescue, stop by their tent to meet some of the cute pups you can adopt.

Jersey Shore Walk to End Hydrocephalus

The Jersey Shore Walk to End Hydrocephalus is a walk to raise funds and awareness for a medical condition called Hydrocephalus, a brain condition that typically occurs in young children. There is no cure for this condition, each step you take and each dollar you donate is going towards a worthy cause.

5K Run For Everyone 2018
September 16, 9:30AM
Spread your wings, donate, and fly for the Dragonfly Program at the Westfield YMCA, which offers physical, recreational and social programs for young adults and teens with special needs. Proceeds also support the Y’s summer Inclusion Camp program for children with special needs entering grades K-6. It’s a 5K for everyone – all are welcome to run or walk.

Central NJ NEDA Walk
September 22, 10AM – 12PM
A day of body positivity – a topic all kids need to know and love. The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is excited to embark on a journey and change lives at the Central NJ NEDA Walk. The walk’s mission is to inspire others and send the message that eating disorders are dangerous illnesses, not lifestyle choices.

2nd Annual #GirlsMatter Walk

Girls; Live, Love, Laugh Inc. in conjunction with Mayor Ras J. Baraka Office & The City of Newark presents the 2nd Annual Girls Matter Walk. Celebrate being a woman, being a mother, and raising a daughter at this inspiring walk for females of all ages. Girl power at its best.

Clark, NJ: Moving Day®, a Walk for Parkinson’s
September 29, 12PM – 10PM
Moving Day® is a Parkinson Foundation’s walk that highlights movement and exercise as a symbol of hope and progress. Did you know exercise plays an essential role in treating Parkinson’s disease? The event features a family friendly walk route, a kids area and the Movement Pavilion where you’ll find yoga, boxing, stretching, Tai Chi, and dance – all free for participants.

Rock the Farm Festival
September 29, 12PM – 10PM
Known as the ‘ma & pop music festival’, this family-friendly event allows re-entry throughout the day to enjoy an Indian Summer day of food trucks, a beer and wine garden, foam party, and yoga.  Rock The Farm Festival is a benefit and 100% of the proceeds go directly to CFC Loud N Clear Foundation. CFC provides free services to over 7,500 families battling addiction in the State of New Jersey.

15th Annual Eden Autism 5K & Fun Run/Walk
