Here are some fun ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve with kids in NJ

1.First Night Ocean County + fireworks
Mark your calendar for New Year’s Eve and a family celebration with local businesses along the Boardwalk. Fun and games for the entire family! Kids will have a blast with the balloonists, face painters, crafts, magic show, jugglers, caricature portraits, and much more. Don’t miss the fireworks show at 5:00PM on the boardwalk!

2. Overnight on Battleship New Jersey
Families can spend the First Night of 2017 overnight on the Battleship! Enjoy dinner and breakfast at the chowline, tour the ship, ride the flight simulator and sleep in the bunks that the crew of the USS New Jersey once did. Plus enjoy the unique view of the New Year’s midnight fireworks from the deck of the Battleship.

3. Ocean City First Night

4. First Night Morris County
This family friendly New Years celebration is bigger than ever. Downtown Morristown festivities start at 4:45 and include 80+ performances, 24 venues, free shuttle bus service, and programming for all ages. 5. First Night Haddonfield

6. New Year’s Eve Splash at Adventure Aquarium
Ring in 2018 with family, friends, and fish! This special extended hours event invites your family to visit with your favorite animals during twilight hours, grab a free, festive giveaway, boogey down at our DJ dance party with Aquarium mascot Gill, enjoy a beautiful fireworks display over the Delaware River and be home before bedtime.

7. Emerald Ballroom Family Party at Crystal Springs Resort
