It’s the mid-Atlantic’s largest boating event and it’s coming to good old New Jersey. View and shop hundreds of boats and marine gear at this event. The event features 440 booths showcasing all the latest in marine technology, engines, accessories, nautical gifts, and more. Your littles will love Kids Build-a-Boat, Touch a Boat, a Sand Artist, a Virtual Fishing Simulator and so much more.

Sugarloaf Crafts Festival
March 1 – 3, 10AM – 6PM
Head over to the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival for a day filled with creativity, artistic ability, and fun. These independent artisans want to showcase their crafts and arts for you, with something for every passion and budget. Your family will love the live art demonstrations such as metal spinning or pottery making, live jazz music, and yummy food vendors.

Jersey Crocs Rule! Opening Day at New Jersey State Museum
March 2
Crocodylians have been on Earth for over 200 million years, according to the New Jersey State Museum. So why not learn a bit about them and bring the family too? Many people are amazed to see the amount of crocodile fossils that come from the Garden State. At this exhibit, you can see modern crocs on display, a six-foot skull reconstruction, and interactive displays as well.

New Orleans Style Mardi Gras Event
March 2, 7PM – 11PM
Celebrate Mardi Gras this year with the Cultural Exchange Project, and celebrate true New Orleans style! This yearly celebration involves food, music, and lots of dancing! This event features raffles, games, and costume contests.

Meet Vampire Girl and Free Face Painting
March 2, 1PM – 3PM
Who doesn’t love a fun Jersey Shore boardwalk, aquarium, and arcade?! Your littles will have a fun day with free face painting at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and they can meet Vampire Girl, as well as take a photo with her.

Mt. Holly St. Patrick’s Parade 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Walk
March 2, 10AM – 1PM
Bring the family outside on Dr. Seuss Day for a 5K run or a family fun walk through historic downtown Mt. Holly. This event benefits the Mt. Holly Recreation Program and it’s a great way to get outside and get your heart pumping with the kiddos!

Dr. Seuss Family Fun Day
March 2, 11AM – 4PM 
Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday at the Morris Museum where your family can enjoy tons of family-friendly activities. Your littles can make a hat just like the Cat’s to wear throughout the day, spend some time reading in the Dr. Seuss Reading Room, take plenty of photos at Dr. Seuss-inspired stations, explore museum exhibitions, and enjoy a children’s show.

Celebrate Mardi Gras in Lawrenceville
March 2, 12PM – 3PM
Take a trip to New Orleans at Cafe Du Pain Bakery, right here in the Garden State. Celebrate the differently cultural experiences and tastes with delcious snacks including croissants and everyone’s favorite: beignets! Wear your best Mardi Gras costume as winners will be selected at 2PM!

Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Party
March 2, 11AM – 1PM
The beloved author’s 114th birthday. This event features a breakfast snack bar, a chance to create your very own Cat in the Hat hat, go fishing for the 1 fish and 2 fish, take tons of photos, and sing along to Seussical the Musical. The fun never ends on Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

Beauty and the Beast
March 3, 3PM
