Here are 10 things to do this weekend around New Jersey

1. Wine Down Summer Fest
August 25-26, 12PM – 5PM
Wine Down Summer Fest is all about winding down summer and celebrating those good summer vibes with a glass of wine. This fun fest features food from your favorites including So Jersey, Little Sicilian, Carolina Blue, and House of Cupcakes. Check out the artisan crafters, relax with live music, and grab a glass of wine from one of 12 NJ wineries, while kids play on the moon bounce, arts and crafts, sand art, and hair wraps.

2. Tastefully South Jersey Exhibition
August 25, 10AM-2PM 
The Tastefully South Jersey Exhibition celebrates folk art and culture through our favorite avenue – food! Discover awesome cultural food traditions from many ethnicities including Caribbean, Eastern European, West African, African American-Southern, and Latino. August 25th is the Taste of the Caribbean, hosted by South Jersey Caribbean Cultural Organization – featuring performances, workshops, panel discussions, and food tastings. Bring the kids to learn about a new culture and their yummy food traditions.

3. Q104.3 Rock and Roll Car Show 
August 25, 11AM – 5PM
Join beloved radio station Q104.3 for it’s 3rd annual Rock and Roll Car Show. Open to all ages, this event is sure to rock your socks off. Chow down on food truck favorites while you check out specialty cars, listen to some good ol’ Jersey rock and roll, hang in the beer garden, or play in the bounce house.

4. Food Trucks and Fireworks
August 25, 4PM – 10PM
Grab your fellow foodie and check out Food Trucks and Fireworks in Mt. Olive. There’s something for everyone, with food trucks ranging from lobster bisque or lobster mac n’ cheese to frozen cheesecake and fried Oreos. It’s food, live music, beer gardens, bounce houses, and fireworks – perfect end to the summer. Don’t forget your appetite.

5. First Annual South Jersey Multicultural Extravaganza
August 25 -26, 2PM – 9PM
This extravaganza wants to bring together cultures from all over through food, entertainment, tradition, and community. Celebrate the message of love, harmony, peace, and unity across all cultures. Check out the talent show or live music, maybe join the paint and sip class too. This event welcomes all ages and backgrounds – taste the food, learn traditions, listen to cultural sounds, and have a blast.

6. End of Summer Book and Art Fair
August 25, 12PM – 4PM
Got a little book worm on your hands? Check out the End of Summer Book and Art Fair in Jersey City’s Journal Square for new and used books, giveaways, art workshops, face painting, and live entertainment. Make your own spin art painted frisbee or creative pencil case for back to school. Registration is required.

7. Riverfront Food Truck Fest
August 25, 12PM – 6PM
Head outside for a day of food and fun in the sun with the family at Riverfront Food Truck Fest. Enjoy Latin, American, Caribbean, BBQ, and Italian food. Relax on a riverboat tour or hang out with the NY Red Bulls Street Team. NJMOM Hack: Purchase a So We Ate Good S.W.A.G. 8. New Jersey Uke Fest
August 24-26, August 24, 7 – 11PM, August 25, 8AM-10:30PM
Are you a big fan of island life and the sweet sound of a ukelele? Then the New Jersey Uke Fest is a must for you. This festival celebrates the incredible instrument called the ukelele, with workshops and lessons galore. Stick around for lunch and dinner buffets, as well as Jammin’ on the Green on Sunday at 10:30AM.

9. Hunterdon County 4H and Agricultural Fair
August 22-26, 10AM – 10PM
Get your dose of horses and goats galore at the annual Hunterdon County 4H and Agricultural Fair. Celebrate this area’s agrarian history with competitve events and shows. But that’s not all – you’ll enjoy food trucks, music and tribute bands, truck and tractor pulls, livestock, archery, and fireworks on Friday night.

10. Cranford Summer Street Fair
August 26, 11AM – 5PM
If you’re looking for something to do in Union County this weekend, stop by downtown Cranford for the Cranford Summer Street Fair. Choose from a wide variety of food vendors, shop for jewelry and other trinkets, and hang out with live music. It’s the best way to spend a summer Sunday.
