Who says fireworks are limited to the 4th of July? Enjoy these 25+ New Jersey Fireworks Shows from now until the end of summer. These fireworks are on display at NJ beaches, NJ festivals, and even baseball games! Participate in all different kinds of activities, hear some live music, and then kick back with your little ones and watch some cool fireworks.

2018 New Jersey Summer Fireworks Shows:

1. Wednesday Night Fireworks at Seaside Heights
Every Wednesday night at 9:30PM until August 29, 2018. Rain dates on Fridays.

Find your favorite spot on the boardwalk to enjoy fireworks at 9:30PM. Head over to the boards early to enjoy the rides, hang out in the arcades, indulge in some ice cream, and win prizes.

2. Thursday Night Fireworks at Jenkinsons
Every Thursday at dusk until August 30, 2018

At Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant, enjoy a fireworks show on the beach every Thursday night, the town’s most popular tradition.

3. Friday Night Fireworks in Wildwood
Every Friday night at 10PM

What better way to end a fun-filled week of summer fun in the Wildwoods than with free fireworks? Every Friday night, watch a spectacular nighttime display of fireworks exploding to a musical score that is played all along the Boardwalk and is simulcast on 98.7 The Coast. Grab a beach chair or find any spot on the boardwalk for this awesome display, you can see them from anywhere on the boardwalk.

4. Tropicana’s Free Fireworks Series
Every Saturday at 10PM until September 8th, 2018

This dazzling 10-minute show is part of Tropicana’s Free Summer Fireworks Series. The shows are displayed from the beachfront, and include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations. This is a fireworks show your family will absolutely remember!

5. Saturday Night Lights Party
Every Saturday at dusk until September 2, 2018

Your little ones will look forward to hair braiding, face-painting, and giant lawn games. Food and drink specials and fireworks at dusk will keep your crew happy.

6. Lambertville First Friday Night Fireworks
Friday, August 3 and September 7, 2018 at 9:30PM

The “First Fridays” program features special promotions and events from dozens of galleries, boutiques, and restaurants on both sides of the Delaware River. Come early for the boutique shopping and fine dining, stay for the live music, entertainment, and fireworks.

7. BlueClaws Post-Game Fireworks
August 3, 4, 17, 18 and 31, 2018, post-game

A baseball game with the family is a fantastic way to spend your Friday or Saturday. It’s easy, it’s entertaining, and it’s really fun for everyone. Order crab fries while you cheer on the BlueClaws. At the end of the night of these select games, sit back and relax with the biggest, brightest, most colorful fireworks shows.

8. Somerset Patriots Post-Game Fireworks
August 4, 18, 23, 30, September 8, 2018, post-game

Another opportunity, a little further north, to enjoy a baseball game with the family and cap off the night with a colorful display of fireworks. Cheer on the Somerset Patriots as the sun goes down.

9. Festival of Lights
Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 4:00PM to 9:30PM, Fireworks at 9:30PM (Rain Date 8/5)

This fun family event features children’s activities, food, live music, fireworks, merchandise vendors and new cars on display. After sunset, enjoy a lighted/decorated boat parade as it glides along the Burlington Riverfront. Pack a blanket or chair and be sure to stay for the grand finale: fireworks start at 9:30PM.

10. Middlesex County Fair
August 6-12, 2018, Fireworks August 6,12 at dusk

Looking to learn something new with your family and have fun while doing it? How about learning a new craft at The Middlesex County Fair? The Middlesex County Fair Association, Inc. has been bringing families together for 80 years and is excited to bring another summer of fun to local residents! Explore the county’s rich agricultural heritage, learn a new craft, try a new food, go on rides, or do it all in one day.

11. 35th Annual Egg Harbor National Night Out
Tuesday, August 7, 2018; 5:00PM to 8:30PM, Fireworks at Dusk

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. This event enhances the relationship between neighbors, law enforcement, businesses, and organizations while bringing back a true sense of community! This free event features food, bouncers, games, tattoos, face painting, ice cream and fireworks at dusk.

12. Vineland Annual National Night Out
Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM (Rain or Shine, Fireworks Weather Permitting at Dusk)
Vineland’s annual family event features a Police – Community partnership to promote camaraderie between citizens and police. Attendees will participate in face painting, barbeque, drinks, a live band and DJ, bounce houses, helicopters, fireworks, and a car show. Bonus: Kids can check out the K-9 demonstration and learn about how kickass polics dogs are. #bowwow

13. Salem County Fair Fireworks
Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Dusk

Two words. Barbecue. Fireworks. What more do you need on a chill summer night? This “old Fashioned” country fair features livestock shows, events, and a large farm machinery display. Savor the delicious BBQ dinner that’s offered nightly along with many other food vendors. Kids will love the tractor and truck pulls, a ranch sorting, and Thursday evening fireworks.

14. Ocean Township Italian-American Festival
Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5:00PM to 11:00PM, Fireworks at 9:30PM

The annual Ocean Township Italian-American Festival celebrates Italian Heritage and Culture with delicious and authentic Italian food, carnival rides, raffles, food eating contests, and more. Jam with the Italian street band before the fireworks show at 9:30PM. #thatsamore

15. Big Sea Day

Manasquan’s First Big Sea Day is coming on Aug. 11th! Join in the fun with games, activities, and a sand castle contest. From 7:30 to 9PM there’s a concert on the main beach, stick around for fireworkd immediately after.

16. Assumption Festival

This family festival features a night of fun with food, drinks, live music, fireworks, kids activities, a 50/50 raffle and more. You’ll be savoring all the fabulous food, beverages, playing games, and socializing. A highlight of the evening is the colorful fireworks display at 11PM.

18. Hillsborough Rotary Fair Fireworks
Friday, August 17, 2018 at Dusk

The Tenth Annual Hillsborough Rotary Fair is back with a fantastic night for the family. Visit vendors, play games, grab some grub, and stick around for the fireworks on Friday night. The Fair is open from 6-10PM Tuesday through Saturday and 2-7PM on Sunday August 19th.

19. Passaic County Fair
August 17 and 18, 2018, Fireworks at 9:30PM on Friday and 9:00PM on Saturday

The annual Passaic County Fair has got quite the lineup this year.  Festivities include fireworks on Friday and Saturday, carnival rides, an array of food vendors, 4-H tent, beer garden, chess tournament, pony rides and petting zoos, just to name a few. Pet some cool animals, grab a beer at the beer garden, there will be something for all ages to enjoy. The Fair runs Thursday and Friday from 6 to 11 pm and  Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 11 pm.

20. Canal Day Music & Craft Festival
Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10AM to Dusk

Learn NJ history by taking a Morris Canal guided walking tour provided by the Canal Society of NJ. Experience life on the Canal first hand by traveling down the waterway on a free boat ride or prove your prowess by paddling a kayak. Learn about local and exotic wildlife. Experience the art of blacksmithing, visit a civil war encampment or lay back and enjoy listening to over 10 of New Jersey’s best musical performers. The annual Hunterdon County 4H and Agricultural Fair will be held from Wednesday, August 22 through Sunday, August 26, 2018. This event features many popular 4-H county fair farm activities along with live music, fun games, thrilling carnival rides, delicious food and the always popular fireworks extravaganza on Friday night.

23. Long Branch Jazz & Blues Festival

Try a new kind of music festival this summer. This music festival features a mix of strong national and local musicians performing live Jazz and blues, kids activities, food vendors with exotic and regional NJ food, crafts, and fireworks.
