Spring 2024 is here, so take a deep breath and get ready to soak in this season of family fun at one of the many festivals in New Jersey. Take a hayride, wind through a maze, and go on an Easter egg hunt at the Springtime and Easter Festival at Alstede Farms, enjoy delicious mac and cheese at the Mac and Cheese Festival in Hoboken, check out local artists at Art in the Park in Hawthorne, watch the high-flying spectacle at the International Kite Festival in Wildwood over Memorial Day weekend, and enjoy food, racing, and games at the Irish Festival in June at Long Branch. March Festivals in New Jersey

Springtime and Easter Festival at Alstede Farms
March 23-30 and April 1-7
Hop over to the farm for spring fun with Easter activities, including a visit with the Easter Bunny, a hunt, a hayride, an evergreen maze, and a giant hay pyramid. There will also be pony rides, wagon train rides, and a bounce house available for additional purchase. The Tomasello Winery Outdoor Patio will be open for tasting and purchases.

Easter Celebration at Allaire Village
March 23 and 30 
Celebrate the village’s Easter celebration with 19th-century demonstrations, including woodworking, blacksmithing, and egg-dying. The whole family will love the Easter activities, such as a scavenger hunt, bonnet decorating, and egg games on the green.

Hop Into Easter

New Jersey Youth Symphony Playathon Festival
March 24 at 12:30 PM
Celebrate and support young musicians as they spread the joy of music at the New Jersey Symphony Playathon Festival. Nearly 500 talented young musicians will perform as one combined orchestra for this annual concert, performing music from movies and musicals such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and The Sound of Music.

Dalton Farms Tulip Festival
Anticipated opening March 30

Tiptoe through the tulips to live music, food trucks, a wine and beer garden, and even yoga. The Easter Bunny will be roaming the fields for photo ops. And with stems at $2 each, you can bring home a beautiful bouquet to admire.

April Festivals in New Jersey

Holland Ridge Farms Spring Spectacular
Opens April 5
Each year, Holland Ridge Farm bursts into bloom with over 8 million tulips in 15 varieties. During their month-long Spring Spectacular festival, you can see farm animals, learn about Dutch traditions, snap gram-worthy photos, take a pony ride, and sample delicious foods. The farm is expected to open in mid-April, and general tickets will go on sale around the beginning of April.

Wheaton Springs 2024
April 6 at 10 AM
Celebrate the start of WheatonArts’ creative season with this family-friendly kick-off event highlighting their daily offerings and hands-on programming. Explore exhibits and join in on projects for the whole family, including pine-needle basket making, coffee filter butterflies, and glass-fused magnets. There will also be food vendors and live jazz music.

5th Annual Hoboken Mac & Cheese Festival

Fur Baby Festival

Together with the friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, you will help to find forever homes for some amazing dogs, cats, and other small animals. This event will feature 15+ food vendors, live music, games, a pet costume contest, and much more.

Grayrock N Roll Spring Festival
April 20 at 9 AM
Over 60 vendors, food trucks, face painting, a DJ, and an acapella group will be at this lively festival. Rescue groups with dogs, cats, and kittens up for adoption will be there. There will also be sanctuary horses, goats, pigs, and chickens.

The Manville PBA Food & Music Festival is a great way to celebrate the weekend. Enjoy empanada trucks, live music, and craft vendors. This event features Bounce House Village, a bungee trampoline, an air shot shooting range, henna tattoos, and much more.

BaconFest at Laurita Winery
April 27-28
It’s an outdoor, fun-filled day of relaxing fun on the grounds of Laurita Winery—pair wine with the many delicious food offerings available from onsite food trucks. There will also be live musical artists, free parking, a face painter for the kids (1 PM-4 PM), fire pits, and fireworks (Saturday evening).

It’s the annual Earth Day Festival with lots of free, fun, and educational activities for everyone. The celebration has many exciting events and entertainment throughout the day, and more than 150 vendors, crafters, food vendors, and exhibitors will participate.

Paramus Food Truck Festival
April 28 at 11 AM
Kick off the season with food, music, and fun. Over 20 Gourmet Food Trucks, music, pony rides, a petting zoo, knocker ball, hatchet tossing, inflatables, face painting, sand art, and vendors with a beer and margarita tent for the adults. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets.

Enjoy the beauty of the vineyards as you run this flat 5-mile course at New Jersey’s oldest active winery. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers and the top 3 in each age group, including kids under 15.
