Little yogis practice kid-friendly poses with #NJMOM – this Tuesday, July 18th at 5pm in Pier Village!
NJMOM Family Yoga Nights is returning for round 2 this Tuesday, July 18th at 5pm with Bee You Kids Yoga. Join NJMOM at the picturesque Pier Village Festival Plaza the next two Tuesdays (July 18th and July 25th) for an evening of family yoga as we build strength, spirit and self-confidence during our 45-minute class with basic postures, games and yoga-themed adventures.
This is an amazing series that NJMOM is organizing. It’s such a great way to reach more kids and families through yoga.

Our sessions are for families of all sizes and ages, from 2 – 102! No yoga experience is necessary and we ask you to please bring your own mat. Dean’s Natural Food Markets will be sponsoring water for all of our yogis, Jones Bar will be handing out organic energy bar samples, and Babyganics will have a Sunscreen Application Station to keep you and your littles protected during our session.
This event reminded me of the deep connection we can cultivate with our children through practicing yoga. When we practice with children, they remind us not to take ourselves so seriously!

Yoga teaches children to be more mindful, not just of themselves, but of the people around them. Children have this wonderful way of being present and living in the moment. We adults can certainly benefit and learn from that mindset.

A $10 donation is suggested and benefits The Valerie Fund, a New Jersey non-profit supporting children with cancer and blood disorders. Anyone who donates will receive a door prize ticket to enter to win prizes from NJPAC, iPlay America, Crayola Experience, Babyganics and many more! All attendees who make a $25 donation will receive a limited-edition #NJMOM gift bag with goodies from our partners (including our coveted #NJMOM fuel mug – limited quantities available!)
