These colorful tulip fields are the perfect spots to revel in nature, cut a bright bouquet to bring home, and just take in the rolling countryside and think you’re somewhere far, far away. The fields won’t be open until March 30, but if you want to guarantee your spot (or have something springy to look forward to), buy tickets when they go on sale stat. Where To See And Pick Spring Tulips In NJ

Dalton Farms
Dalton Farms offers acres of pinks, yellows, reds, and purple tulips in NJ for strolling, picking, and picture-taking. Beyond the blooms, the farm is open 7 days a week, and on the weekends, there is live music, food trucks, a beer garden, and even a farmers’ market. Look for the Easter Bunny to roam the fields for photo ops. Though there’s no opening date yet, the 2025 picking season will be announced soon, so check their website for updates.

Holland Ridge Farms
The largest U-pick farm for tulips in NJ, thousands flock here each spring to fields that mimic an experience in Holland. The farm will start selling tickets at the beginning of April (opening day is contingent on weather and the blooms) and lasts just until May, offering rows of colorful tulips for unforgettable insta moments. There are also food trucks, an onsite bakery, ample picnic spaces, a feeding zoo, pony rides, and, of course, those enchanting views. The new Windmill is a must-see if you are looking for panoramic views. There will also be even more gorgeous new photo ops for tulip season—and if you want to get a specific color, check out their interactive map.

Arrowhead Farmstead Dinosaur Tulip Festival
Want a unique PYO experience? Dinosaurs meet tulips at the Arrowhead Farmstead in Manalapan this spring where kids and adults will be in awe of the stunning colors set against life-like prehistoric creatures. During the Tulip Experience from now until April 27, bring your own cutting shears and a bucket of water to cut tulips for $1 a stem while checking out the 30+ life-size dinosaurs. Starting on April 30th, the the tulip fields transform into a Dino fantasy, where you can smile for dino photo ops, watch live dinosaur entertainment, try interactive exhibits, and even enjoy encounters with a baby T-Rex and Triceratops.
Cost: $21.50 per person for admission to the Tulip Experience until April 27, $27.50 during Dinosaur Days April 30 – May 4

Ort Farms
Take a trip to Long Valley to wander through the tulip fields at Ort Farms. Packed with color, the fields are pick-your-own, with two stems included in admission, and $2 per stem for each one after. After you’ve picked your bouquet, head to a farm for some fresh ice cream, famous pies, and delicious BBQ for a bite. Open daily, the tulips will be available from April 23 to May 4, subject to weather and availability.
