And with many open for the season, it’s a day you’ll want to spend in the crisp autumn weather bundled up in plaid with your littles picking, petting the animals, and even watching farm tractors on the fields. Abma’s Farm: Market, Greenhouse, and Petting Zoo
Buy tickets online to get the whole fall experience, including hayrides, pumpkin picking, and visiting the barnyard zoo. Alstede Farms
Alstede Farms is one of our favorites because it truly has it all—visit this New Jersey farm market, and pick your own apples, pumpkins, raspberries, sunflowers, peaches, corn, and more. There are three mazes for you and the fam to get lost in, including the evergreen, sunflower, and corn maze. Visit and feed the animals, sample ice cream, and enjoy the crisp fall air.

Funny Farm Rescue & Animal Sanctuary
The Funny Farm Rescue & Animal Sanctuary has created a home for over 550 animals that have been unwanted, sick, injured, and abused since 2000. The Farm opens its doors so you can visit these animals and bring smiles to their faces – and yours too. Your kids can see cats, dogs, horses, donkeys, ducks, pigs, goats, etc.
