Read on for where to find a show near you—and with weather always a factor, it’s best to check before you go to ensure they haven’t been canceled or postponed. Atlantic County

Atlantic City 4th of July Fireworks in New Jersey Shows
July 1 and 4 at various locations
As a city known for its grandeur and over-the-top displays, these fireworks in NJ are not to be missed. The three free shows are viewable from countless places along the beach and casino district. Catch Bally’s show at 9:30 PM on July 1 or watch the show at North Beach on July 1 at 9:30 PM. Tropicana will offer a fireworks spectacular at 10 PM on July 4 too.

July 4 at dusk
This display will begin at dusk at Hammonton High School. Bring your own blankets and chairs.

Margate Mothers’ Fireworks
July 4 at 9 PM
Join in on this annual July 4th celebration that will take place on the beach and is sponsored by the Margate Mothers’ Association. Don’t forget your beach chairs and blankets.

Bergen County

Paramus Firework Show and Food Truck Festival
July 4 at dusk
Come hungry to sample over 20 food trucks, and the kiddos can enjoy a DJ, inflatables, arm/leg painting, and kids’ activities. At night, cuddle up to watch the spectacular fireworks show.

State Fair Meadowlands
July 3 and 4, after 10 PM
This year, there’s a two-night Fireworks Spectacular for families to enjoy. On July 3 and 4, you and the fam will have front row seats to fireworks that promise to ‘wow.’ Enjoy the rides, live animals, music, pig races, and many more attractions and activities at the Fair. Fireworks will launch both nights after 10 PM.

Fun on the Fourth in Collingswood
July 4 at dusk
Water games, raft races, and more during the day and watch the sky light up with fireworks at night. Gates open at 6:30 PM for the fireworks, and there is a live music performance at 7 PM. And good to know—there is no parking in Knight Park on the 4th.

Independence Day Fireworks
July 1, 2, and 4, beginning at 7 PM
Experience the beautiful fireworks display from the deck of the Battleship New Jersey on three different nights. Food, drinks, and alcohol are available for purchase, but no chairs, food, or drinks are allowed aboard the ship.

4th of July Fireworks in New Jersey – Cape May County

Fireworks on the Beach in Avalon
July 4 at dusk
Listen to the Bay Atlantic Symphony Brass and Percussion Concert at Surfside Park at 7:00 PM and enjoy fireworks at dusk. Simulcast on WCZT 98.7 FM the Coast.

Cedar Grove Annual Fireworks Display
June 30 at 7 PM

Enjoy a spectacular firework show in Cedar Grove. Be sure to get there early so you can get a good parking spot, and don’t miss a live DJ, Balloon Artist, and crafts with the Cedar Grove Library staff. The rain date is July 1.

Jersey City’s 50 Star Fire Show
July 4 at 9:30 PM

Celebrate our nation’s liberty with a gorgeous fireworks display on Jersey City’s waterfront that rounds out a huge free family event with Fireworks by Grucci. Grucci, also known as the Guinness World Record holder for the “Largest Fireworks Display” ever recorded, will transform the night sky on the 4th. Stay tuned for a map of locations.

Beachwood WOBM Fireworks

Montclair celebrates the 4th with games, live music, and activities before the fireworks display that will delight the whole fam. Don’t miss the 69th annual Independence Day Parade beforehand, and then head to Yogi Berra Stadium at Montclair State University to ooh and ahh as the fireworks pop above. There is no rain date.
