Yep, you heard that right– you can get paid to try stuff out, including a ton of self-care goodies (hello, new mascara!) and useful mom products. Consumer Product Testing Company (CPT) in Fairfield wants to pay you for testing out new products before they even hit the market. And if you ever wanted your voice to be heard, this is your opportunity, since your opinion on what works and what you love will eventually shape the product. Here are CPT’s must-know trials happening right now
This fall, there are a number of skin studies for women of all ages and even a few for men and one for kids, too. Simply click on the link below to get more in-depth details about the study and keep in mind the initial visit determines if you qualify. Also good to note: The studies are always changing, so best to check in with them to find out if the one you want is still available.
Skin Sensitivity Study is open to females ages 18-65 on October 29 or 31. Payment is $5. The skin on your cheek will be tested for sensitivity. If you qualify, you will then be asked to participate in the Laundry Detergent Study, for people with this type of sensitivity, on either November 8 and December 6 or November 14 and December 12. Payment is $55.
Anti Aging Product Study is looking for females ages 35-65 for October 31, November 7, 21, December 5, and January 2. You’ll receive your test material at your first visit, as well as usage instructions and daily diary. You’ll then return for 4 more visits. Payment is $200.
Anti Aging Product Study is also looking for females ages 35-65 who have been pre-qualified (you can stop in to qualify before the study starts) on November 1, 8, 22, December 6, and January 3. You’ll receive your test material at your first visit, as well as usage instructions and daily diary. You’ll then return for 4 more visits. Payment is $170.
Mascara Study is open to females ages 18-65 on November 5 and December 3. At your first visit, you’ll be examined by an ophthalmologist, and then receive a 4-week supply of the test material, use instruction, and a daily diary to document material use. Payment is $55
Consumer Perception of a Brow Primer Study is looking for females ages 18-45 on November 6, 13, and 20. At your first visit, you’ll receive test material, use instruction and a daily diary to document your usage. Payment is $50.
Arm Irritation Study is looking for females and males ages 16-79 on November 7 and 8. At your first visit, the test material will be applied and you’ll return 24 hours later for a final examination. Payment is $30.
Face Treatment Blackhead Study is looking for males and females ages 18-65 on November 7 and 14. Payment is $55.
Sensitive Skin Wipes Study is for females ages 18-55 on November 8 and December 6. At your first visit, you’ll receive a 4 week supply of the test material, usage instructions, and a daily diary. You’ll return for a final examination at your second visit. Payment is $55.
Face Treatment Blackhead Study is looking for males and females ages 18-65 on November 7 and 14. Payment is $55.
Supplement Study is open to males and females ages 40-49 on either November 12, 14, 26, and December 10 OR November 19, 21, December 3, and 17. You’ll receive a 4-week supply of the test material, use instructions, and a daily diary to document your usage. Payment is $75
Sunscreen Spray SPF 50 Study is for females ages 18-45 on November 12 and December 10. You’ll test material, use instruction and a daily diary to document your usage at your first visit and return for one final visit. Payment is $55
Photo Toxicity Study is open to females and males ages 18-65 on November 12, 13, 14, and 15, for a total of 4 visits that are 5 minutes long. Payment is $60.
