Batsto Village 
Take a trip back in time to Batsto, which dates back to 1766, boasting an original post office and a 32-room mansion that served as a residence for generations of iron masters. Other buildings include the General Store, Gristmill, Sawmill, Blacksmith, Glass Works, Cottages, Farm, Icehouse, and a Nature Center. Join a guided tour or walking tour to learn all about this historic site.

Burlington County Prison Museum
The Prison Museum Association (PMA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to research and preserve the prison’s history and promote the site for tourism. Take a self-guided or audio tour or try out their escape game. For the escape game, you can feel like you stepped into the shoes of a safecracker who managed to break out in 1933. During this game, you will be given a case full of clues, and once you figure out the combination to open the case, you are on your way throughout the jail to find other clues leading to your ultimate “escape.”

Columbus Farmers Market Complex
This vast indoor market offers more than produce—it also includes retail shops, such as antique stores, a garden center, an Amish market, and a flea market. Head to the produce area for veggies, local fish, fruit, and eggs.

Historic Medford Village
Visit this quiet Main Street with gift shops, boutiques, restaurants & cafes, and Medford’s Art Center. Stroll along the brick sidewalks lined with old-fashioned gas lights and shade trees, or view the Victorian-era homes, and then take a break at one of the many eateries in town, like the historic Braddock’s Tavern. Indian Acres Tree Farm
The whole family will have a ball trying to find the scarecrows hidden in their small and giant mazes, and then pick the perfect pumpkin in the autumn. Johnson’s Corner Farm 
Fall harvest weekends at Johnson’s Corner Farm feature live music, a family-friendly corn maze, gem mining, apple-, gourd-, and pumpkin-picking hayrides, and a food tent, all of which are perfect when the weather starts getting chilly. They also have spring hayrides, summer camp, and strawberries, blueberries, and peaches available for picking from mid-May to July, along with fall options like pick-your-own pumpkins and sweet potatoes.

Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm
Pick peaches, sunflowers, field flowers, cherry tomatoes, and blackberries in late June. In the fall, there’s apple, sunflower, and pumpkin picking. They also have a corn maze, a farm market, and Christmas activities.

Mount Holly

Pinelands National Reserve
Classified as a United States Biosphere Reserve and established by Congress as the country’s first National Reserve, this Burlington County reserve is a must-visit spot. It spans 7 southern New Jersey counties and over one million acres, where you can explore parks, rivers, and forests, and even see rare plants and animals. 

Rancocas State Park 
Hike, bike, kayak, and jog at the Burlington County state park. The nearby Rancocas Nature Center hosts a variety of wildlife and outdoor programs, hikes, and children’s programs like Tails & Trails and Little Sprouts.

Roebling Museum
Learn about the connection to the Brooklyn Bridge from the architect who built the well-preserved Company Town, and put yourself in the shoes of what it must have felt like to live there, see the Mill Yard, and learn how steel was made. The Funplex
With locations in East Hanover and Mount Laurel, The Funplex is an indoor-outdoor theme park that offers dozens of arcade games, rides, go-karts, laser tag, and a water park. Wharton State Forest 
With over 124,000 acres, Wharton State Forest is the largest single tract of land within the New Jersey State Park System. You can kayak or canoe, hike along the trails, or take the unpaved roads for mountain biking and horseback riding. Wharton State Forest’s numerous rivers, ponds, and fields are also ideal for wildlife observation. Swimming in Atsion Lake is permitted in the summer when lifeguards are present and you can also visit the Atsion Recreation Area and guided tours of nearby Atsion Mansion are available on weekends.

Whitesbog Village 
Visit the spot where Elizabeth White, in collaboration with Dr. Frederick V. Coville, developed the first cultivated blueberry in 1916. It is also a historic company town and farm with 25 historic buildings. It is listed on both the National and State Registers of Historic Sites.
