This weekend enjoy a front row seat view of the stars at the NJ State Museum planetarium, become a park explorer at Hamilton’s Ground for Sculptures, and enjoy a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at West Windsor’s Farms Market. 1.Tots on Tour

Listen to a story, become GFS Park Explorers, and make art in hands-on workshops designed for 3-5 year olds. Lesson and theme changes monthly. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited; first-come, first-serve. Meets in the Welcome Center. Rain or shine! Instructor: Joslyn Johnson.

2. Community Lantern Walk

3. Bacon, Sausage & Scrapple Making
Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
If you work all week to bring home the bacon, sausage and scrapple, but don’t really know from whence they come, visit Howell Farm for our bacon, sausage and scrapple program. You will see these and other pork products made before your eyes. Farmers will demonstrate rendering lard, making pork products and showing visitors the origins of different cuts of pork. Cracklin’s and other delicacies will be free for the asking, and pork sandwiches will be available for sale.

4. West Windsor Community Farmers Market

With 15 farms and 11 artisan food and natural product vendors, the West Windsor Community Farmers Market (WWCFM) is well known for its wide array of locally grown seasonal fruit, vegetables, pasture raised and produced grass-fed meats, dairy, farm fresh eggs, woven fibers, breads, baked goods, flowers and plants, honey, prepared foods and more. Check the website for weekly featured entertainment.

5. Planetarium
Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 12:00 PM
Soar through the skies in the Museum’s spacious Planetarium, featuring precision projection of more than 6000 stars. The largest planetarium facility in New Jersey features a Full Dome Video giving visitors the sensation of zooming through the Solar System and beyond. Four shows are featured: 12:00pm – Rusty Rocket’s Last Blast (Suitable for families with young children); 1:00 pm – Laser Space Chase (all ages); 2:00 pm – To Space and Back (Suitable for general audiences) and 3:00 pm – Black Holes (Suitable for general audiences).
