Get ready for a 5-mile course, all contained within Tighe Park. The annual St. Paddy’s race is a great way to take in the beautiful scenery in the park. Workhorse Rides at Howell Living History Farm

Come out to the farm to learn about the differences between draft, saddle, and carriage horses, and then take a ride on a fully harnessed workhorse (rides 11 AM-3 PM). Afterward, help farmers with barn chores, including bedding stalls, filling water troughs, and making feed.

Plan to bring the whole crew and spend the day at this fun family festival that supports Special Olympics. Maple Festival at Happy Day Farm

Did you know it takes about 80 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup? Take a tractor ride on the 130-acre farm with over 700 maple trees, where you’ll see the sugar bush and learn the process to collect sap (you may be asked to help out Farmer Tim). There will be an educational tour, animal feedings, and a wooden train too.
