You’ll find Touch-a-Truck events all over the Garden State—some are free, while others support local causes. Kids can climb aboard, do arts and crafts, and even meet community helpers. Here’s Where To Find Touch-A-Truck Events In NJ
North Jersey
In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Touch-A-Truck will take place in Clifton on April 18, 2026, featuring interactive vehicle displays, horses, and opportunities to meet a variety of first responders.
If you’re in North Jersey, Hasbrouck Heights will host a Touch-A-Truck event in the Central Avenue Parking Lot on May 16, 2026, featuring Tree Trucks, Dump Trucks, Garbage Trucks, Skid Steers, and more.
Jump in a bouncy house, see a live band, and lots of trucks at the Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne for a Touch-A-Truck event on June 6, 2026.
Central Jersey
Wall Recreation will host a Touch-A-Truck event featuring trucks, food, a DJ, and a Make-A-Wish tent on April 25, 2026, at Wall Community Park for the whole family.
Head over to Beachwood and get behind the wheel of a truck, try some crafts, have a snack, or sit in the driver’s seat of an ambulance at the Touch-A-Truck in Beachwood on June 26, 2026. They will also have a sensory-friendly hour from 10 AM-11 AM with no horns, sirens, or flashing lights.
On October 10, 2026, at the 5th annual Charlotte Joy event—the largest Touch-A-Truck event in Freehold— there will be over 200 vehicles, food trucks, rides, vendors, and entertainment. All proceeds will benefit children battling cancer.
South Jersey
Several fire department, EMS, and police department vehicles will be on display at the Mansfield Township event, and admission is free on May 16, 2026.
South Jersey will host a Touch-A-Truck event in Mount Olive on June 13, 2026, featuring a sensory-friendly hour, RC car racing, fire trucks, construction trucks, and inflatables.
In the fall, Diggerland USA will host EMS vehicles, heavy machinery, fire trucks, and more at its Touch-A-Truck event on September 19, 2026.
