Whether your kids are ‘growin’ up’ listening to The Boss, or you want to give them their first taste of live music and a true slice of Jersey culture, you can rock out together at The Music of Bruce Springsteen for Kids at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, on April 28th at 11:30AM. The Rock and Roll Playhouse is performing this family-friendly concert, which features lots of dancing, singing, and playing games to some of the Jersey legend’s fan favorites (all age appropriate tunes).

A fun family jam-fest of Bruce Springsteen favorites at The Stone Pony
Springsteen grew up in Freehold and is celebrated for his poetic lyrics, energizing performances (many at The Stone Pony), and singing about his Jersey Shore roots – all things The Rock and Roll Playhouse brings alive onstage. Combine Bruce’s music with this legendary rock venue where he got his start, and you’ve got a performance you won’t forget.
The Rock and Roll Playhouse performs shows all across the country, bridging the gap between the music you love and your children. What better way to bond as a family than through music? The show is educational and exciting, and a chance for your kiddos to explore their creativity. They’ll have chances to play with a big parachute, play games and explore movement. And, they’ll top off the fun with face painting and some serious sing-along action.
What to know before you go
Don’t worry momma, The Rock and Roll Playhouse knows little ears are sensitive, so the volume is turned down at all shows. But, if you prefer to bring headphones for them, you’re welcome to. The shows typically last about 2 hours and cater to kids 10 and under. #NJMOM Tip: The Stone Pony is conveniently located right across from the beach so be sure to stroll the boardwalk, stop into the Silverball Museum for classic pinball and arcade games, or grab a bite to eat at Pop’s Garage. You’ll be sending your ‘greetings from Asbury Park’ after a fun family day at the shore.
