Who doesn’t love a free sample, especially if you’re getting paid to try it? Yep, you heard that right– you can get paid to try stuff out, including a ton of self-care goodies (hello, new cleanser!) and useful mom products. Consumer Product Testing Company (CPT) in Fairfield wants to pay you for testing out new products before they even hit the market. And if you ever wanted your voice to be heard, this is your opportunity, since your opinion on what works and what you love will eventually shape the product. Each month, a slew of new studies come out, so finding one that fits your lifestyle and interest is simple. Read on to find out how and when you can have a say and learn more about CPT.

Here are some of CPT’s must-know trials happening now

This fall, there are a number of skin studies for women of all ages and even a few for men, too. Simply click on the link below to get more in-depth details about the study and keep in mind the initial visit determines if you qualify. Also good to note: The studies are always changing, so best to check in with them to find out if the one you want is still available.

UVA Sunscreen Back Study is looking for females and males ages 18-70 for two groups on September 23. The first group’s visit will last 7.5-8 hours and payment is $120. The second group’s visit will last 5.5-6 hours. Payment is $85.

Ingrown Hair Treatment Study
 is open to females ages 18-65 with starting dates on September 23, 29, or October 7. At your first visit, you’ll receive an examination, along with test material, use instruction, and a daily diary to document your usage. After 1, 3, 4, and 7 days, you’ll return for a final visit. Payment is $60.

Arm Irritation Study
is for females and males ages 16-79 with dates September 24 and 25. At your first visit, the test material will be applied and you’ll return 24 hours later for examination. Payment is $30.

Facial Tissue Study
is open to females ages 18-65 with two visits on September 24 and October 8. An ophthalmologist will examine your vision and eyes. After you’ll receive 2 week supply of test material, written instructions, and need to keep a diary. Payment is $45.

Vitamin C Moisturizer Study
is looking for females ages 18-65 and if you qualify, is a total of two visits on September 24 and October 15. You’ll be examined by a dermatologist and receive the test material and a daily diary to document test material use. Payment is $55.

Vitamin C Serum Study
is for females ages 18-45 with two dates on September 24 and October 22. You’ll receive materials at the initial visit, and then the trial will take place over 4 weeks, where you’ll be asked to keep a diary of your usage. Payment is $55.

Facial Cleansing Wipes Study
 is for females ages 18-45 on September 26, October 10, and October 24. This study will consist of three visits and required a diary of usage for over four weeks. Payment is $90.

Hydrating and Soothing Cleanser Study
is open to females ages 18-54 with two visits on September 26 and October 24. For this, you’ll receive a four week supply of the test material and a daily diary to keep track of your usage. Payment is $55.

21-Day Cumulative Patch Study is open to females and males ages 18-79. This study starts on October 1 and continues through October 22. Payment is $170. 

Glycolic Serum Study is looking for females ages 18-45 on October 3 and 31. You’ll be examined by a dermatologist and receive a 4-week supply of the test material, use instruction, and a daily diary to document material use. Payment is $55

Exclusive RIPT Study
 is open to females and males ages 18-65 starting on October 7. You’ll come in Monday through Friday to have your patches applied. You’ll return on for five more visits from December 3 to December 11. Payment is $350.

Facial Concentrate Serum Study
is for females ages 18-65 and is a total of 3 visits on October 8, November 5, and December 3. At the first visit, you’ll receive your 8 weeks supply of test material, instructions, and a daily diary to document your usage. You’ll need to come back for check-in after 4 weeks, and then a final visit at the end of the trial. Payment is $90.

Consumer Perception of a Liquid Bandage Study is for females ages 18-65 and has open enrollment Mondays through Fridays, until the study is filled. You’ll make a final visit 2 weeks after your first date.  Payment is $45.
