With the arrival of the summer-like weather, no one wants to be stuck inside searching for things to do in New Jersey this weekend! The beautiful Jersey Shore is host to farmer’s markets and a bonfire this weekend. Enjoy the the culture of the Italian, Irish or Greek at a festival or savor the bounty of strawberries at a Strawberry Festival! We even have a few ideas for just mom and dad!

4) SMS Italian Festival

The 2nd Annual SMS Italian Festival supports the children of the St. Michael School.  This year’s festival includes over 25 children and adult rides, games, food, a beer and wine garden, daily entertainment and a fireworks display on Saturday night!

5) Visit the Beach Club

6) Be a Field Biologist

Start the day at the Environmental Center at the Manasquan Reservoir creating a recycled journal. Then head on out for a short nature walk filling your journal with all sorts of observations!  For a small fee, you can also enjoy boat tours around the park throughout the day.

7) Irish Festival

8) Eat Some Spanakopita and Baklava At St. Demetrios Greek Festival

The 2015 Greek Festival by the Bay is this weekend. This three day family-friendly festival includes Greek culture, food, live music, dancing and shopping.

9) DuckFest 2015

The 2015 Rubber Ducky Festival is this Saturday at Passaic River Park. Enjoy a day of games, live music, food, a car show and much more! Your family can purchase your own rubber ducky for $5 to race down the Passaic River to the finish line! If your ducky is one of the top finishers, you can win prizes! The money raised will go to scholarships at Governor Livingston High School.
