New Jersey is home to some of the country’s most amazing museums, but trying to visit them all can get a little pricey. No worries though, mama, Bank of America is celebrating its 23rd year offering free admission to over 225 museums around the country– for their cardholders– and we’ve got all the deets. On the first full weekend of every month, BOA Free Museum Day offers their cardholders one free general admission ticket to a museum near you to check out fun, educational, and cultural experiences for your whole family. Read on to find out where and how you can gain free access to these hubs for the arts and sciences with your BOA or Merrill Lynch cards.

#TipTuesday – The Montclair Art Museum loves families! . Here are some quick tips for a great experience: . * Strollers are permitted, but double wide and extra large strollers may not be permitted in certain galleries for the protection of the artwork. There will be places to park your extra large strollers during your visit. * Large bags, especially backpacks, will not be permitted in the galleries, for the protection of the artwork. You are welcome to check them in our self-coat check during your visit. * Food and drink are not permitted in the galleries. There are places throughout the Museum where you can enjoy a drink or snack, including in our café reception on the 1st Floor of the Museum. * There are changing stations in both the women's and men's restrooms on the 1st Floor of the Museum. * Be sure to visit our Learning Lab on the 3rd Floor of the Museum. This interactive space is open during gallery hours and offers self-guided art activities. * Becoming a Family Member gives you discounts on our many family programs, classes, and more! * Have fun! . . . How to redeem your free museum admission ticket

Simply show your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card and identification (your license or passport) to the ticketing agent to redeem your free ticket. The free pass excludes special exhibitions, ticketed shows and fundraising events so be sure to purchase show tickets separately or in advance.
