1. NJ Makers Day at Steamworks
March 18th, 2016 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Innovation and a hands-on learning experience collide at Steamworks for NJ makers day. Children will be able to play with a 3D printer by getting their head scanned with a professional or record a song with backtrack sounds to create a hit. Dont miss out on this unique event that will help everyone in the family learn more about technology.

2. Mad Hatter Tea Party
March 19th, 2016 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Everyone loves a lovely tea party. Sweet treats, delicious foods, fun activities and games, and a chance to hang out with the easter bunny is all happening at the Mad Hatter Tea Party at Cumberland Mall. At this free event, children will engage in exciting Easter activities while being mad as a hatter.

3. Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The 13th celebration of the Sussex County St. Patrick’s Day Parade is right around the corner. From Irish dancers to Fire Departments, there will be lots to see during the parade. Additionally, there will be live music from the pipes and drums through-out the event.

4. Labor Arts Classes

Through visual and performing arts, children will be introduced to the contemporary history of working people in the United States. Mixing education and art, children will develop an understanding and appreciation for workers’ homes, lifestyle, and workplace while engaging in hands-on activities. Classes are appropriate for grades 3-5, and teens.
