1. Meet Elmo
April 16th, 2016 | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Don’t miss out on a meet and greet with a furry little friend. Elmo will be making a stop at Learning Express Toys of Holmdel to take pictures with and meet some friends.

2. Early 19th Century Spring Festival
April 16th, 2016 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Join the historic village of allaire in cleaning up for spring. At the early 19th century spring festival, guests will help prepare for spring by engaging in a spring-themed activity—cleaning the flower and vegetable beds.

3. Mendham Borough 3 Rivers Festival
April 16th, 2016 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Help clean up the stream in celebration of earth day, take part in a rubber ducky race, listen to poetry written by the students of Mendham, or play a game of watershed jeopardy. Embrace mother nature at this interactive festival hosted by the environmental commissions of Mendham Borough.

4. Millburn Street Fair and Craft Show
April 17th, 2016 | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Check out the artists of Millburn at the street fair and craft show, hosted by Millburn recreation. There will be live music, craft displays, delicious foods from all around the world, a petting zoo, and even clowns and jugglers. Additionally, there will be unlimited pony rides for the kids.

5. Spring Exhibition
April 17th, 2016 | 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Rain or shine, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey is the perfect place to spend this Sunday. Stop by for an hour long exhibition opening reception that is showcasing three new artists. The event is open to people of all ages and there will be light refreshments.

6. Maywood Semi Annual Street Fair
April 17, 2016 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Maywood is holding its semi annual street fair this weekend with local vendors, a special kids traveling shindig, live music and dance demonstrations, and food galore. Food vendors such as the famous empanada guy, the seafood gourmet, the guac spot, and more will be serving it up at the street fair. Additionally, there will be exciting activities for the kids such as karaoke and mechanical kiddie rides.

7. Kids’ Fishing Derby
April 16, 2016 | 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
It’s time to pull out your fishing rod and bait, and head to Echo Lake Park for the kids fishing derby. Welcoming children 16 years of age and younger to join in on the event, the Newark Bait & Fly Casting Club hosts its yearly fishing contest meant to show kids the challenges of fishing.

9. Daffodil Festival Earth Day Celebration
April 16, 2016 | 11:00-4:00pm
April showers bring May flowers, and that includes daffodils. Ridgewood is holding their Daffodil Festival and Earth Day celebration as a combined celebration during the rebirth of spring. Enjoy live music, beautiful plants, and a parade. There will also be a “Daffy Dog” parade, plant sale, music and multiple activities for children including nature themed arts and crafts and educational displays.

10. Comedy Parade in Ocean City
April 16, 2016 | 12:00pm
The Doo Dah Parade is making its way through Ocean City to mark the end of tax season with this comedy parade complete with over 500 basset hounds. Adults get the chance to relax and laugh while children witness the hysterical pie face spectacular.

11. Bizzy Bee Baby Casting Call

Calling all little models out there. Bizzy Bee Baby is looking for children of the ages 6 months to 12 years old to try out for photo and video shoot. Fill out the model application on the website and attend Bizzy Bee Baby’s Maywood Semi Annual Street Fair booth with a headshot to enter.

12. Saturday Live Music at Sharrott Winery
April 16, 2016 | 1:00-4:00pm
Come enjoy live music by Ashley Thomas and wine tasting; then purchase a bottle to savor during the performance. Live music will be on our patio and lawn overlooking the vineyard. A nice selection of gourmet cheese platters is available for purchase in the Tasting Room. You are welcome to bring appetizers or a picnic lunch. Seating is limited; you are encouraged to bring a blanket and/or chairs for use on the lawn.
The tasting includes 6 samples of Sharrott Winery’s award-winning wines and a souvenir glass. No BYOB permitted. By law only Sharrott wines can be consumed on the property.
