1. Sun Power at the Watershed Center

The clouds are disappearing and the sun is making a warm return. Learn about the power of the sun through an interactive program which includes a hike tour around the watershed, how the watershed is powered, and how important the sun’s energy is for the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed. During the event, there will be a solar balloon launch and a solar bug race.

2. Customer Appreciation Day at Battleview Orchards
May 7th, 2016 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
It’s customer appreciation day at the Battleview Orchards and they are welcoming customers new and old to their special day of free events. There will be a history exhibit, free fun tattoos for kids, wagon rides around the orchard, sampling of products around the orchard, and fun games for the entire family.

3. Cape May County Coast Guard Community Festival
May 7th, 2016 | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Celebrate the bravery of the Cape May coast guard at their annual festival. Throughout the weekend there will be various events taking place, but the free events will mainly be on Saturday. Take a guided tour through the Coast Guard Ships, meet and greet with a static helicopter crew, jump around inside a bouncy house, or see a K-9 demonstration. There are many activities going on throughout the day that you don’t want to miss out on.
