It’s official—spring is here, and so are a bunch of seasonal things to do with the fam this weekend. Meet the Easter Bunny and ride on the train at the Rolling Railway Easter EGGspress in Hammonton, play games and dance with color to celebrate Holi at Rang De Jersey: Holi Carnival in Woodbridge, or get fresh air and exercise on a walk and fun run at the 2024 Shamrock Shuffle in Bernardsville. Moms, Dads, Caregivers, Babies, and Kids are welcome to the Play & Swim Moms Group at Five Star Swim School. A place where parents/caregivers can bring their children to have fun and socialize. Homeschooler groups are welcome.

Battleview Orchards Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Check out this hunt where the Bunny has hidden eggs around the orchard for children ages ten and under to collect. Admission is a non-perishable item that will be donated to a local food bank, or you can donate cash.

Celebrate the village’s Easter celebration with 19th-century demonstrations, including woodworking, blacksmithing, and egg-dying. There will also be many Easter activities, like a scavenger hunt, bonnet decorating, and egg games on the green.

Annual Keyport Fire Department St. Patrick’s Parade

Live music, floats, entertainment, and participating organizations throughout the community will come together to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in New Jersey. The 2nd Annual Battle of the Pipe Bands will take place after the parade.

Highlands St. Patrick’s Day Parade
March 23 at 2 PM
Help paint the town green at Highland’s 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Your family will enjoy nearly 100 marching units, including bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers, and decorated floats. This parade will take off at Waterwitch Avenue and extend along Bay Avenue.

Sawmilling and Tree Planting at Howell Living History Farm
March 23 at 10 AM
Spring on the farm means upgrading the horse stalls with barn beams, siding, and floorboards after a cold winter. Visitors can help roll logs with logging tools, make pegs for the barn framing, cut firewood for the kitchen stove, or plant replacement trees in the farm’s woodlot.

Springtime and Easter Festival at Alstede Farms
