Disney on Ice: Frozen
January 3 – 6
Follow the full story of Frozen as you’ve never seen it before, on ice! Your whole family will be cheerful when singing along to the Frozen classics as the characters race to bring back summer. Special appearances will be made by other Disney characters too.

Winter Beach Walks
January 4, 11AM – 12:30PM
Join a naturalist on a winter walk through the Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area in Manasquan. Identify some of the ocean’s treasures and go shell collecting. Be sure to bring a bucket or pail to put your shells in.

Pizza and Penguins 
January 4, 6PM – 7:30PM
While you enjoy pizza and drinks, the coolest flightless bird will make an appearance. Learn about penguins, ask their keepers questions, and meet the mascot Perky the Penguin, too. Please register in advance.

61st Annual Model Railroad Show
January 5-6, 1PM – 5PM
The Garden State Model Railway Club invites you to join them during their model railroad show weekend. Bring your little train lover to see model versions of intermodal, mixed freight, coal and passenger trains, both steam and diesel trains. All aboard! Bonus: Thomas the Train will be there too.

NJPAC’s Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back In Concert
January 5, 3PM & 8PM
Watch the epic film on the big screen with the accompaniment of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. This event is perfect for the little Star Wars lover in your life, where every action and reaction is stronger when backed by the incredible score. Your ears will be happy too, mom.

Family Fun Concert: The Green Planet Band

The Green Planet Band is a band for kids, by kids, of kids! These three little rock n’ rollers play their hearts out on stage and are sure to put a smile on your family’s face.

Snowflake Shuffle
January 5, 10AM – 12PM
The Snowflake Shuffle is a fun 3K community run designed for the whole family. The race will take place on a closed course within the Stockton University campus as part of Special Olympics New Jersey’s annual Winter Games. All proceeds benefit Special Olympics New Jersey to support over 25,000 athletes across the state.

West Windsor Community Farmers’ Market’s Indoor Farmer’s Market
January 5, 10AM – 1PM
The Indoor Farmers Market attracts folks from far and wide around amazing local food and producers. Meander throughout the rooms of the Windsor Athletic Club to find winter produce, pastured meats and poultry, fresh seafood, mushrooms, artisan cheeses, sauces, jams, chocolates, wine and much more. Plan on a morning filled with good food, live music, and positive vibes in this warm and inviting communal space.

Cooking with Kids – Make a Marshmallow Snowman!
January 5, 11AM – 12PM
A fun activity for kids where they can make a mess but keep it contained! A marshmallow snowman, of course. At this event, your littles will make icing, use a pastry bag to glue the snowman together, use an edible black marker to draw the face, and make homemade hot cocoa. This class is encouraged for ages 4 to 7 and requires an adult.

DIY Doughnut and Pizza Night
January 5, 6PM – 7:30PM
For ages 13 and up, you and your teen can make your very own DIY pizza. Montclair Bread Company will bake it in their ovens for you. Then, you’ll get a box of six plain doughnuts with toppings and glazes on the side, it’s your turn to be creative!

Art Together is a great program for families to explore the amazing world of art and work side-by-side to complete arts and crafts projects. In each session, an instructor will lead participants through one of the galleries, followed by an arts and crafts project.

WinterFest on the Cooper River
Now through February 18, 2019
WinterFest on the Cooper River is back and bringing a winter wonderland to you. Your littles will love ice skating on the river, tasty treats, and visits to The Lodge and Winter Forest. Bonus: For those littles that aren’t too strong on their skates, book a skating lesson!
