Boots at the Beach Country Festival 
Sept. 14 12PM – 10PM, Sept. 15 10AM – 10PM, Sept. 16 10AM – 3PM
Yeehaw! It’s time to kick up your boots at the Boots at the Beach Country Festival in Wildwood. You’ll be dancing to live country music all day, as well as shopping at the country themed booths for clothing, wares, and other items. Friday and Saturday Night every bar in North Wildwood will have country bands and DJ’s to entertain you. Bonus: Sunday is Brunch at the Beach – enjoy a Bloody Mary.

Central Jersey Jazz Fest 
Sept. 14 6PM – 10PM, Sept. 15 & 16 1PM – 6PM
Soak up the last month of outdoor festivals at the Central Jersey Jazz Festival – which features three outdoor locations for all your jazz needs. At all three you’ll find festival food, a beer garden, art for sale, and professional jazz musicians ready to knock your sax off, oops…I meant…socks off! Friday is in Flemington, Saturday is in New Brunswick, and Sunday is in Somerville.

Ort Farms Food Truck Fest
September 15, 11AM – 6PM
Ort Farms is the go-to spot for local produce, local honey, local ice cream, cheese, milk, and so much more. At this event, all they’ve done is add some awesome and delicious food trucks to the menu. Plus, your kids will love the corn maze, train rides, and hayrides.

8th Annual All About Downtown Street Fair
September 15, 12PM – 8PM
The 8th Annal All About Downtown Street Fair is back with over 300 vendors from The Grove Path Plaza all the way to Coles Street. Your little ones will enjoy amusement rides, face painting, games, and live music all day long. At the Grove Path Plaza is the Chillax Zone – where DJ’s will rotate bringing you fun, energetic, and relaxing music. Enjoy cocktails and brews at various restaurants. Keeping up with tradition, at the end of the parade you’ll experience the Grassroots Drum Parade.

Sandy Paws Dog Walk Fur Clean Water

Clean Ocean Action’s fourth annual Sandy Paws fundraiser event invites dog owners, their furry friends, and pet lovers for a dog-walk and beach cleanup in Asbury Park. Stay for the after PAWty at Wonder Bar, prizes, and costume contest. View more information on their Facebook Event.

Asbury Park Fall Bazaar & Indian Summer

A live music festival and a pop-up market featuring vintage and handcrafted items make this fall bazaar a unique event you can’t miss. Camp on the beach, wake up and shop, and enjoy a free yoga class. Kids can enjoy craft workshops throughout the day and you can too.

Video Game Con

Take your video game lover to Video Game Con for nonstop video game fun. This event is more than sitting and watching – it’s interactive too. There are dozens of video game tournaments, console freeplay, virtual reality, a video game museum, music, and special guests.

Apple Days Harvest Festival
September 15, 10AM – 5PM
Apple Day has become a local tradition for the folks who live near Terhune Orchards – and it should be a tradition for your family too. To celebrate Terhune Orchard’s abundant apple harvest, head over for wagon rides, hayrides, corn mazes, face painting, and pumpkin painting too. Bring your appetite for over 34 varieties of apples and to the Food Tent – stocked with all the apple goodies, pies, apple cider donuts, and more.

Belmar Feast of San Gennaro
September 15- 16, 11AM – 6PM
Celebrate your Italian heritage or New Jersey’s Italian heritage at Belmar’s Feast of San Gennaro. There’s no shortage of cannoils, zeppoles, Italian sausage, and dancing at this event. Make sure you watch the procession of the Statue of San Gennaro and the Cannoli Eating Contest.

Bassetfest
September 15, 12PM – 4PM
Make your way to Riverview Beach Park for all the basset hounds you can imagine. Is it their droopy eyes or long floppy ears that make you smile? Either way, you won’t feel droopy with kids crafts, paw prints, family photo shoots, bean bag tosses, pin the tail, raffles, and Hound Parades. You’ll love the Blessing of the Hounds. This event asks you bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage to share.

41st Annual Fest of the Sea and 5K in Point Pleasant
September 15, 10AM – 7PM
The Festival of the Sea is back in beachy downtown Point Pleasant for it’s 41st celebration. Your mouth will water over the delicate dishes from local restaurants like crab cakes, shrimp skewers, paella, lobster bisque, soups, and more. Start your local summer off right at this fun fest and 5K – get some exercise too.

The Great Inflatable Race and Food Truck Festival
September 15,  9AM – 12PM; Food Truck Festival from 11AM – 5PM
The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union are proud to partner with Union High School to present the Great Inflatable Race and Food Truck Festival to benefit Union High School’s Project Graduation.  For a fee, your little ones receive a race t-shirt, the ability to run through the inflatable race, a wristband, temporary tattoo, and race medal. Looking to just hang out? Enjoy the food truck festival and chow down with your favorites.
