State Ballet Theatre of Russia’s Swan Lake
February 1, 7:30PM – 9:30PM
Do you have a little dancer at home? Or a lover of princesses, twirls, and swirls? Bring your family to Swan Lake for a greater appreciation of art and expression, with the State Ballet Theatre of Russia’s incredible dancers. Stroll around downtown Red Bank beforehand and grab a bite to eat, we love Good Karma Cafe.

Chinese New Year Family Day
February 2, 10AM – 1PM
This event kicks off with a lion dance, a kung fu demonstration, student performances, Chinese crafts and games, and plenty of hands-on activities. Bonus: NJMOM hears there’s going to be dumpling making! Yum!

Meet Pink Pig & Face Painting

Wassailing the Apple Trees at Terhune Orchards
February 2, 1PM – 4PM
Join in on this popular winter tradition at Terhune Orchards, and help wassail the apple trees. Wassailing the trees helps to protect them from harm before the weather gets warmer. This event features hot cider toasts, singing, dancing, live music, and putting cider-soaked breads into the branches of the trees to celebrate the New Year.

Annual Valentine’s Day Plunge in Manasquan
February 2, 12PM
Are you ready to take the plunge? We’re not talking about tying the knot, but rather the 13th Annual Valentine’s Day Plunge in Manasquan. Dubbed “the Ultimate Ice Bucket Challenge”, all donations and proceeds from the fundraiser go towards supporting ALS patients. The event offers options for an individual or team registration, or you can be a spectator if jumping into the freezing cold Atlantic Ocean isn’t your thing.

Chinese New Year Performance & Celebration

Planetarium Valentine’s PJ Party Shows
February 3, 11AM – 12PM or 12:30PM – 1:45PM

Pinkalicious Story & Paint

Head to Color Me Mine for a story reading and a fun craft. Pinkalicious will read “Pinkalicious: Pink of Hearts.”  Then, your littles will paint personalized ceramic heart plaques and decorate pink and red cupcakes to take home. Pottery will be ready for pickup in one week.
