This weekend shop dozens of vintage and wellness vendors along the boardwalk at the Asbury Park Spring Bazaar, relax with a glass of vino and sample some favorite local food trucks at the Spring Wine and Music Festival in Ringoes, or have a Mother’s Day tea to remember at the Morey’s Piers Mother’s Day Tea Party in Wildwood. It’s your weekend mamas, enjoy your time with the fam.

Asbury Park Spring Bazaar
May 11 – 12, 12PM-5PM
NJMOM loves bazaars in good old Asbury Park because not only are the vendors always current and awesome, but the location couldn’t be better. Convention Hall is right on the boardwalk, just steps away from the beach and other cool AP spots. This event features beauty and wellness pop-ups, craft and vintage vendors, a Mother’s Day brunch, live music, and a photo booth, as well as kids’ art classes and workshops.

Spring Boardwalk Classic Car Show
May 10 – 12
If you’re in Wildwood this Mother’s Day weekend, make sure you stop by the boardwalk to see the amazing lineup of classic cars – all at least 10 years of age and older. The show features 40 cars for you and your family to check out before or after a day of fun at one of the Jersey Shore’s most popular boardwalks.

Smithville Children’s Festival
May 11, 10AM-3:30PM 
Spend the day at Smithville’s Children’s Festival, which features face painting, farm and zoo animals, train rides, storytellers, live performances, yoga, sack races, and so much more. Play games, make pottery, and ride the iconic carousel. Smithville’s 60 shoppes and 7 restaurants will be open as well – so you’ll have lots to explore and enjoy.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at NJPAC
May 10 – 12
Join Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as it celebrates six decades of achievement through dancing, gliding, and smiling. Watch the premiere performance of Rennie Harris’ Lazarus, which is based on the life and legacy of Alvin Ailey – a man who made huge strides in the dance world as an African American. Timeless Ailey, performed on Sunday, features various excerpts of modern dance pieces and concludes with Revelations, which pays tribute to African American culture and is set to spirituals and blues.

Branchburg Food Truck & Music Festival

Looking for your next #foodgram? Make your way to Branchburg for the Food Truck & Music Festival featuring over 20 gourmet food trucks, live music, kids activities, and more. Mom and dad can check out the beer and sangria gardens. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and your pup too!

Sustainable Princeton’s GreenFest
May 11, 11AM-3PM
Teach the kids the importance of sustainable living at GreenFest at the Princeton Shopping Center. Test drive some electric vehicles, marvel at a live animal wildlife presentation, make sustainable art, enjoy live music, take a sustainable living pledge, enjoy food from low-waste restaurants, and so much more. You are asked to pre-register if you plan on checking it out.

Late Spring Flea Market at Allaire

Morey’s Piers Mother’s Day Tea Party

This Mother’s Day, enjoy tea for two, three, or the whole fam at Morey’s Piers. This is sure to be a tea party to remember, because it’s happening at the legendary Tea Cups Ride on Mariner’s Pier in Wildwood. Mamas can ride free, but also sip complimentary tea, biscuits, and scones. And, your littles can decorate a sugar cookie for you at the cookie decorating station located next to the Tea Cups!

Mother’s Day at Mountain Lakes

Lake Hopatcong Block Party 2019
May 11, 10AM – 5PM
This annual event kicks off the summer season and celebrates all things lake life! You can explore local vendors and businesses, try tons of food, and go on a Passport Adventure. As you enjoy the block party, visit participating sponsors, get the required stamps, then submit your passport to be entered in a drawing for a prize. The party features a 50/50 raffle and children’s scavenger hunt too – your littles will love looking for all the clues!
