Sample everything from festival favorites like funnel cake to BBQ and bubble tea. The little ones will love the rides and games and the whole family can jam out to live music.

Dive into Portuguese culture and cuisine at this three day family festival in Newark’s iconic Ironbound neighborhood. 5th Annual Bayonne Hometown Fair
June 8-9
Bayonne’s 5th Annual Hometown Fair celebrates Bayonne’s 150th year as a city! There’s an expanded beer garden this year for mom and dad, but tons to do for the kids as well. Enjoy festival food, two stages of entertainment, rides and games, and shop the local vendors for a fun, family-friendly day or night out.

3rd Annual ParkFest at Bread Lock Park
June 8, 11AM-5PM
Head over to Bread Lock Park this weekend for a celebration of music, art, history, literature, and more. ParkFest is a perfect chance to expose the kids to an art show by local artists, a classic car show, or even an “Authors Alley,” where your family can meet published authors. The library system will be running special kids activities and bringing in food vendors. Up on stage, you’ll hear live music all day.

Monster Jam
June 8, 7PM

Your little monster truck lovers will go nuts over Monster Jam, the adrenaline-charged, family-friendly monster truck show and competition. Some of the most famous monster trucks are featured at the show including Grave Digger, Max-D, and El Toro Loco. Watch as these drivers push it to the limit with these huge trucks and leave you on the edge of your seat!

Beach Haven Art Walk 2019
June 8, 10AM-4PM
Head to LBI to spend a day by the water, look at some incredible artwork, and support some amazing locally-grown talent. Need a new painting for the living room, or maybe a cute new piece for the nursery? Done and done. The Beach Haven Art Walk features local businesses, live music all day, and a Children’s Corner where your littles can make hands-on projects, have their face painted, and visit with a caricature artist.

Annual Rose Day Festival

This festival celebrates the first signs of summer…roses in bloom. In the heart of Colonial Park Gardens, thousands of roses are putting on a colorful show. Be sure to snag a rose plant to brighten up the kitchen table!

Community Health & Family Festival

Hoboken focuses on health at this jam-packed event featuring music, games, prizes, raffles, and giveaways. Bonus: a football clinic with former NFL player Carlos Perez and a soccer clinic with a local youth star. Get outside and get active!

The New Jersey Fairy Fair

Wave those wands for a bit of magic at the New Jersey Fairy Fair. There will be healers and readers of tarot cards, angel cards, fairy cards, massages, and Reiki.

Enjoy a day in the sun with your family at Livingston’s Summerfest.
