NJ Mineral, Fossil, Gem & Jewelry Show
April 3-7
The 2019 special exhibit is The Scoop on Poop: The Science of What Animals Leave Behind. This is a huge family-friendly event that features minerals, fossils, dinosaurs, meteorites, gemstones, artisan jewelry, and so much more. Bring your little adventurer for a fun-filled event to see the dinosaurs and spend time in the Dinosaurs Rock Kids Corner. Prices for all items are 60-90% lower than anywhere else.

Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival 
April 6-14
Did you know that New Jersey is home to a serious amount of cherry blossoms? Check out this fest for the beautiful trees but also the fun events like the bike race, fun run, and family day. This is the perfect opportunity for some great family photos, these trees are gorgeous!

The Fishing Expo
April 6-7
The Fishing Expo is a two-day event that features a wide range of exciting new products, services and programs for fishermen and boaters of all kinds. Talk to pros and demo special products. Your littles will love free face painting offered both days.

Red Bank Street Fair & Craft Show
April 7, 11AM-5PM
Downtown Red Bank is your next stop for a fun street fair. The event features artists, crafters, yummy food, kids rides, games, live entertainment and more. Check out the dance and martial arts performances too!

Asbury Park Vegan Pop Up Shop: April
April 7, 11AM – 5PM
Whether or not you eat vegan, a fun foodie pop-up shop is always a great way to spend a Sunday with the kids, especially in Asbury Park. This event features dozens of vendors including Good Karma Cafe, The Baklava Lady, Chocolate Calling, Mexi-Boys, and many more. When you’re done, you can always walk along the boardwalk, grab a bite to eat, or maybe stop into a bookstore.

Lakewood Blue Claws Opening Weekend

Attending a baseball game with the family is always fun – there’s food, games, kids activities, and of course, baseball. Stay local this weekend and check out the Blue Claws opening weekend. Buster’s birthday is Sunday, which means it’ll be a party at the field. On Sundays, kids eat free.
